All the people asking the government to step in, close the borders, and somehow protect the people of the United States are, unfortunately, preaching to the choir. The U.S. government only addresses those things that are going to turn a buck. Look how they ignored us when Bush asked for the 1st $700 billion bail out. Everyone screamed No! All the politicians voted for it anyway. The rest is history. I rest my case. We are like megaphones in a deep well. The only thing that will result in change is a revolution --- hopefully a peaceful one! More Tea Parties. That will work. People, rise up and protest!

It seems (for this small outbreak) the real issue may be research operations (whether university or private corp) and sloppy handling practices, though thats just conjecture at this time.
Anna, the first reported infections in Texas. Maybe we should build a border fence around Texas?
I tried to order a "Bring out your dead" type Ox cart so I can cash in on the Pandemic. but the damn things are on back order status ;-)

The boarders need to be temporarly closed immediatly to everyone along the Mexican Boarder. I don't care who you are, legal or illegal. Until the swine flu can be contained. It is absolutaly insane not to and I feel that the government will be blamed for the spread if not, and rightfully so if they don't take all precautions to protect its Citizens . Doesn't the old saying go "It's better to be safe than sorry". I don't want to hear "I'm sorry" if my baby catches this because more could have and should have been done.

There is another cause of flu symptoms that the CDC should list on their wewbsite & consider in all cases of flu symptoms. See if there is blood in urine, and whether or not the FATIGUE is autoimmune action on the red blood cells. Remember 1918 was at the end of WWI. I suspect the chemical in explosions blows around and gets into the eyes of people. And that this goes back to the mid 1300s. I suspect 2-butoxyethanol may be there and in gun cleaners, and home cleaning products, too.

It's all germ warfare. They are trying to get to the US through Mexico. Think of all the food that has been infected in other countries like China for instance. It's part of the plan of those involved in 9/11 and all enemies of the USA.

It is just another third world disease that open borders has allowed into an otherwise clean country. Clean except for other third world diseases that we all thought were from the middleages growing up in America.
