Brother...look this culture LOVES to deny death...like somebody did something wrong if they die. Living to 100 STINKS usually not always but usually .. THANK you but NO no way no how. I do NOT want that. I fear old age like the plague. For 45 or 50 years your body give you not much problem then all of a sudden bam, it breaks down then pills, pills, more pills more money for big pharma, supplements and yes sure watch the diet OYE do I watch my diet no more of anything i loved, hello tofu and exercise which i HATE but I do as much as possible so my heart doesn't get decraptid and so my brain which is subject to aura migraines doesn't have a stroke...I am VERY VERY scared of debilitation. Truthfully I do believe in euthanasia for ME not for anyone else. I do NOT want to suffer EVER..no chemo, no bald hair no puking your guts up NOTHING. If I can't feel well with NO pain, no nausea or so sickness and i can't be mobile I want out...the human life span is 45 years old but big pharma has extended it double...at what cost? Who can afford it? No thank you. Life is too hard anyway, especially with not much money and WORSE much WORSE if you extend it to 100!

bagelmaven: You are right; there are worse things than death. And if I get a terminal disease I hope I will know when to say "enough is enough".
Come to think of it, life is a terminal disease. No one is getting out of here alive.
Please note, I am not a doctor and this is my personal experience. What worked for me might not work for you. Please consult your doctor before taking any action.
I’ve had migraines since I was 20, when I first had one I thought I was having a stroke. Since then I would have clusters of migraines about every other month. About 3 years ago the aura’s started to get worse. The doctor wanted to put me on all sorts of anticonvulsant medication. After looking at the side effects I decided I would pass. What seems silly is the idea that controlling the symptoms of the migraine would somehow reduce my risk of a stroke. It’s like saying I you cure a heart attack by taking pain medication. Migraines are a symptom of something; they are a warning. Doctors need to heed that warning not cover it up.
A short time after consulting the doctor, I came home and lost vision in my left eye. This wasn’t an aura, but a total loss of vision. I knew what was happening so, immediately I chewed two aspirins and called the doctor. My vision came back within 2 minutes. After a series of tests, the doctor said a small blood clot had entered the eye and caused temporary blindness. I was lucky it didn’t do any real damage. Needless to say that scared me and I started taking an aspirin a day. That happened over 2 years ago and I have been migraine free since.
When I mentioned this to my GP he told me to research PFO’s and their relationship to migraines. What the research suggests is that tiny clots can cause migraines. I don’t have a PFO, but I have a high hemoglobin count, which some studies suggest are a risk factor for strokes. I can’t say for certain that aspirin stopped my migraines, but I can say that was the only real change I made.
The logic here is to get rid of processed food and only stick to going green and be an advocate of toxic-free and preservative-free food-this way, sickness of any kind will be a thing of the past.
That's just not true. Cancer, mental illness, genetic disease, colds, flu, etc all strike vegetarians who live "healthy" lives. All those healthy living people are going to feel pretty stupid, dying of nothing.
