Pass the buck, pass the buck, WalMart, Target, say they ordered from this company, and that company says they ordered from another. What a bunch of shi*.
The lead is in there because China has in the past and will in the future get away with it.
While King Obama is in China, he should pick up some toys for his girls to play with, painted with lead. After all if they are good enough for our kids, they should be good enough for his.
Thank God for groups like this that watch our backs. Much I am sure to the trades people who open up our children to all this crap with no regard for our children.
It's not the brand names, it's the point of manufacturing origin. We need to manufacture our own items to ensure there's no lead. This wasn't an issue before manufacturing was sent overseas.
Stop the panick over lead in toys! This is total nonsense. Are the kids eating the toys? Where are the parents? Get real folks! The Gov't. overseers have created another scene for spending this nation into oblivion. They are going to destroy America!
ummm...yeah I have a lead testing kit for all my kids toys...idioit, I am a medical reseacher and I don't even know if they make any kind of testing for kids toys ---how is a regular, overworked, blue collar mother supposed to tell?
AND.... duh, kids DO eat toys!
I don't like a lot of government interaction either but when it comes to food, medicine and toys I think the people we elect should get involved heavily! Thank goodness for groups like the one in the article!!!!
And where do the vast majority of these toys come from? The same place that put antifreeze in our pet food and toothpaste, CHINA. We can't properly test many of these items and China could care less about safety. And Al, yes the kids are eating the toys, or at least chewing on them. So you need to get real.
China is killing us financially and literally. Stop buying their products and watch them fall. All they provide the world with is junk that we don't need. Bring some manufacturing jobs back to the US so we actually have a choice of which products we would like to purchase. If you take a look at any shelf in most department stores you will find that hardly a thing comes from here anymore.
Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that our spineless government, regardless of which party is in power, will do anything about it. What they care most about is pleasing their corporate donors who are more than happy to continue with the status quo of cheap foreign labor and unacceptable toxicity levels of our children's toys. All be damned!
despite whatever line you get from the cdc or fda keeping us healthy or rather getting us healthy is NOT a priority. there will be no change from the two-party fixed government system
we don't have to worry about outsiders invading our country . the poeple who are responsible for inspecting and refusing that merchandise are the culprits . in a few short years , the medicare and medicade systems will be over whelmed by horde of idiots . their grandchildren will also be among them.
if they put lead in toys, think about what they are putting in your electronics including computers power cables etc. they put stickers on cables saying they contain lead and you should wash your hands after handling. I've learned to stay away from soft-gripped tools and kitchen utensils. whatever they put in the foam and rubber it isn't good
It is absolutely unacceptable that any toys on store shelves should have lead in them. Kids put things in their mouths, any parent knows that! I would like to know when the government is truly going to crack down on this, and in the meantime, why not provide us with lead testing kits, and make it mandatory that labels are on products warning us. I have a 24 year old son who has the mind of a 12 year old and I now believe it could have been from lead poisoning because I certainly can not find any other reason for it. Now I am raising 2 grandbabies and am about ready to throw all their toys away and start making my own just to ensure their safety
How many of you are willing to put your money where your mouth is??? If it says "made in China" don't buy it no matter how much you want it or even if you can't find it otherwise... do without and be healthier. If enough people did this there would be changes... 'cause money talks!
I seen an example of a cotton baby sleeper that was found to have extremely high levels of lead. How the hell would lead get on cloth. I don't know much about manufacturing clothing but it only takes common sense to conclude that it being there could only be intentional.
Could this be a slow acting war measure to lower the IQ of the nations that Ch1na one day intends to take over? What other possible reason could there be to lace baby clothing with it. This way it doesn't matter if the child puts it is his/her mouth. The things that they do put in their mouths such pacifiers are laden with phthalates which don't cause brain damage but do cause reproductive problems. Abilty to cause productive problems would also benefit a nation intending to conquer another.
No one knows for sure how long this has been happening but it surely has been long enough.

I noticed the article didn't say "Made in China"...as china is trying to slowly kill us..maybe because obama is over there brown nosing?
no it isn't because of obama they have been doing this forever. STOP buying things made in China because it is all crap!

I read somewhere that rich people in china will buy there kids toys made in other countries because they know how bad the made in china toys are

Reminds me of made in Japan" 50 years ago.
