Quick fire up the the money presses and notify Big Pharma, we need a vaccine. It's a worldwide pandemic, lets get the WHO involved. Fortunately, here in Northern Ohio we've been spared so far. Due to global warming the lakes and pools are too cold during the summer to do much swimming and the virus doesn't grow as well because of the lower temperature. Guess every cloud really does have a silver lining after all.

People need to shower before they go in the pool. Way too many people skip this. You shower after being in the pool to get the chlorine off you. You shower before going into the pool so you don't contaminate everyone else with e.coli. Unfortunately, the same people who are least likely to shower well before going in the pool are also probably lax in the rest of their sanitation habits.

I find public pools and water parks disgusting.....lots of filthy people and babies in diapers, yuck!

I will swim in a public pool or the ocean ,but i have given up on lake or pond swimming after a boy down here in florida got some kind of brain eating parasite poor kid.

I used to swim(as a child) in a huge water hole that was made during the construction of I-95 AND hwy 50 heck there was even gators in that hole never stopped us..we were stupid and lucky..now i believe i am at least a little smarter and i don't push my luck anymore.

It's all Bush's fault!! Seriously--now scientists found another way of keeping us in our sterile houses and be absolutely scared to death of everything.
