Just show her the chart. 41 milligrams ! I'm sure I'm behind already. Though, you'll have to buy some good Double IPA to make your case. At 7-10% alcohol, you can float the tide of nagging with glee with what appears to be only one beer.
I saw on news last night that Lotus Vodka was suppose to have Vit. B in it and to be good for you and help curtail hangovers. Beer, Vodka and Wine so far all have good qualities :). Um, think I saw a while back that maybe a shot of whiskey was good for the heart? Wishful thinking.
And this infomercial was brought to you by Budweiser and Miller Lite.....they left the parts out about high blood pressure, heart attacks and liver disease. Oh well, the doctors and hopsitals need to make a living........
During the 1960's a study surfaced that showed that brewery workers had fewer"colds" than the average person---they attributed it to the beer. The brewery workers were allowed to drink as they brewed and consumed much more than the average citizen.
And when people are dying from alcohol poisoning or other health problems related to drinking too much alcohol, what will the people who wrote this article say.
Well looks like Budweiser or some beer maker might have had a hand in promoting this one. It might be good for your bones but watch that weaving on the road which could be hazardous to yours and someone elses health. Cheers, bottoms up. :)
Sorry, can't always believe in these so-called studies, I have socially consumed beer for over 35 years, milk, my whole life, and I have had 2 hip-replacement surgeries in a 16 month period from ball joints disintegrating!
But sugary sodas are linked to pancreatic cancer--so, I guess that means we should tell our kids "No Johnny, you can't have a soda, a beer is better for you!" What BS will think of next?
I'm sorry Enma3, but that's what you should tell Johnny.
Soda (carbonated high fructose corn syrup) is most definitely worse for your health than beer. Especially the high quality delicious microbrews that I drink.
Who cares what this or any other study says. Beer is one of man's great creations and should be enjoyed in moderation by all living creatures. A couple of cold one's every now and then has kept me sane for the last twenty years of working my tail off.
Finally some good news. Now, if they find out bourbon is good for your heart, I should live forever..Something Libs and Conservatives can agree on..
agreed. Next time my wife yells at me for drinking too much i will just tell her i was concerned about my overall bone health.
WOW! We knew it was good for our bellies and ego, now its good for bones too?! this is Great!
Let's hear it for boners.
Remember to drink responsibly. My definition of drinking responsibly is to not spill any.
Good for your bones and it makes women better looking.
Even though I am a girl, and 'girls don't like beer,' I read the title and heard the "Halleluiah" chorus in my mind.
I do like a good ice cold beer now and then. :)
Can you please convince my wife of this theory?????????
Cheers!!

All beers are rich in B vitamins as they are grain products.

And this infomercial was brought to you by Budweiser and Miller Lite.....they left the parts out about high blood pressure, heart attacks and liver disease. Oh well, the doctors and hopsitals need to make a living........

Ah! The wonders of modern science. This is definately not "global warming." This is REAL science!
Beer is proof that God loves us, and wants us to be happy. Benjamin Franklin.

Alcohol has been proven beneficial for a number of things--------However the KEY word is MODERATION!!
W.C. Fields when asked about his "beliefs"----------his response was --"Everyone should believe in something---so I BELIEVE that I will have a drink."
Didn't they do this study in 2009... http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/123275249/abstract
Cheers to beer! I knew it was good for the body and soul. :)

Hey, how come MSNBC.com doesn't have a link to put their articles on Face Book? I would love to share this with my people on Face Book.

Bud probably has no silicon, or anything else for that matter, in it. You have to drink a pair of six's to notice any effect.
beer is good!
beer drinkers don't get your hopes too high. this is another study that will be blown out of the water 3 months ,6 months, 9 months, down the road.
Sorry, can't always believe in these so-called studies, I have socially consumed beer for over 35 years, milk, my whole life, and I have had 2 hip-replacement surgeries in a 16 month period from ball joints disintegrating!
Well in that case, I'm invincible!
