I work hard for my income. I obey the laws. I don't cheat on my taxes. I see people around me taking life easy, watching TV most of the day - satellite, no less. They are the first to be in line at our local food bank, collecting all the "freebies" they can carry. Then later, I see them at the local bar, or in a restaurant, having dinner. Or riding their horses. Many of them smoke and drink. Our government is making life easier to be unmotivated, lazy, good - for - nothings. When I grew up, I was taught to be a hard worker, loyal to my employer, and take pride in my work. Looking around, that seems to be non - existent these days. The easier you make it today, the harder it will be tomorrow. I'm becoming tempted to just stop working for a living, and go home and watch movies! Maybe I'll get a horse.
I've been working from the age 16.One day all of a sudden I lost the mobility of my lower extremities. I am in a wheelchair and pray not to be it for a rest of my life. I don't have any insurance. I applied for medicaid. I was denied. Why? Because I don't have any children under the age 18. What kind of thing is this? During the time I worked they took money out of my check biweekly faithfully. Now, I need help and can't get it. Someone please help me to understand. Oh yes, one more thing I am not 65 years old. I have RA, asthma, diabetes, and hypertenion. What I am I suppose to do? No one knows why my legs just stopped on me. Did I tell you that I live in South Carolina. This plays an important part also. They give you the oh boy too! What should be done about that? Maybe I need to try to find some of the older people to get some home remedies huh? My God is still alive!
