What are those other ways? Passports? sorry, those are unreliable, and worse, even if you get a patient that comes in with a passport, then it's likely their medical records are in a different country, and several time-zones away and that just finding someone to find the records will take a day.

The concept of portable records is great. But it would have to be inside the head or inside the chest. Otherwise there is the serious risk that a greivous injury would destroy the chip or amputate the limb holding the chip. We can't fix a person missing a thorax or a head, so those two places are optimal.

It is an RFID chip that for now will be used as a password to an external centralized database. If you know anything about the RFID technology though (and being a coder you should) you know the technology is not limited to that scope. You also (being a codesculptor) should know that code is always vulnerable to misuse, hacking (ask Sony) and human error. What the OP was implying is that if all you want is a means of tracking a patient's records there are other means by which to link databases and access information. My hospital group is one of the largest in the area and uses a hand scanner that scans the blood vessel pattern in the palm...no chip needed. The potential for misuse with an implanted device is a risk many are not willing to bear despite the wailing of the government hugging ninnies who would rather give up privacy and freedom for a very small possibility of added security or "ease" as they call it. As is said...honest fools can be suffered but a pretentious fool is a danger to society.

There is absolutely no way they'd depend on the image of a single x-ray film to diagnose lung-cancer. In fact, part of the reason is, because they'd be unable to differentiate it from bone cancer or breast cancer or even a melonoma. Even a mold or parasitic infection looks identical (on x-ray) to many cancers.

What you had, if your doubtful experience was accurately described was the equivalent of the Forrest Gump of doctors. And then SOMEHOW he was able to bring you a diagnosis from a single film without getting an oncological consult?

Sorry if I'm absurdly dubious of your account. What MIGHT have actually happened is they saw something on the film and wanted to do follow-up tests to rule out cancer, or a pulmonary contusion, mycological disease, pneumonia. and tuberculosis.

I do know about this. While I'm not an oncologist and never have been (never wanted to be, in fact), I've seen my share of radiological series (including x-rays) of the chest (thorax) over the last 30+ years. My specialty was cardiovascular surgery -- not cancers, as I'd said.

Years of study is the only real way to know what is really being said within those words. (That is another debate I will not get into at this moment - too lengthy.) I'll just say, that there is much to learn in that subject area, and yes, there are, in fact, some written accounts by outside historians of the time which verify certain things (though not all). I will also say, that many scientists believe in God.

One can neither prove nor disprove the exist of God. That is a simple matter of faith -- yet to show disrepect for the beliefs of another proves to me that we do not practice what we preach -- whether it be a faith system, or science, or governmental and social beliefs.

CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) are Federal programs-----that is how you can walk into any medical center that accepts assignment and it must be accepted (they cannot charge you over the contractual agreement nor bill you for services that are not allowed i.e. Medicare Assignment).

I would think one of the ways not to get this is do not go to government funded clinics or hospitals. Find out how to take good care of your health if you do not know how. I and many of my friends and family take care of their own health and only go to doctors when the care is beyond their ability.

My husband and I both are trained in first aid and cpr. One or both of us go for refresher courses. We both have taken all kinds of nutrition and medical courses. A person does not have to be all hooked up in the insuranace medical industral complex to have good health.

Why are you putting God into the equation? The chip comes from the antichrist not God. The Bible is God's word of God warning us of what is to come and to be ready and have insight. The mark is most defintely going to be a computer chip implanted into our righthand.

All Bible prophecy is accurate/literal/given by God thru Man so that His people will be informed/wise/act accordingly & not be caught off guard & suffer the same consequences that ignorant unsaved Man will face. Those of us who know God/His Word can make an informed decision & choose not to accept the chip, as is part of the coming Anti-christ's plan for world domination. God's warning to us about this is found in Revelation 13:17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

I agree!! God does not need such implanted microchips.. we all as human beings have DNA specifically containing all our information. That DNA I believe is a God intellectual way of keeping track of us, no? Just a thought.
