Kudos to this strong woman, her positive attitude will do her wonders. Stay strong and healthy Jennifer, you're amazing!
Stay strong Jennifer!! Thanks to you and The Today Show for exposing the world to this information. My beloved mother just passed away in late November from triple negative. Hers also responded well to the first round of chemo, but the recurrence did not. She also was not as proactive as Jennifer, as it was not understood how aggressive her form of cancer truly was when first diagnosed.
We have created a donation site for her, www.firstgiving.com/ruthmorgan and have raised almost $10,000 already to support Triple Negative BC research. Keep the research going!!!
Go Jennifer!~ And way to talk about it with the ladies of the today show. Getting it out helps others know what kind of cancers there are and how they can affect people. If possible keep us informed on how things are going for you I would really like to know more about this form of cancer as cancer in general runs in my family and I have had a lump removed myslef (non cancerous!). Amazing woman you are!~
Please keep us informed. Monday I had a mammogram done after finding a large lump in my left breast. Now I can feel five others. They found 8 tumors during the mammogram and ultrasound. I have to wait for two weeks to even be seen by a breast specialist. A biospy won't even be done at that appointment. The wait to find out what is going on is horrible. It runs in my family too. Best of luck and keep your spirits up for your daughters.
Inspiring story! My husband, a general surgeon in a southern town sees about 2 women a year with lumps and no insurance. He offers the surgery at no cost but the women without insurance can not get admitted to the hospital...even the not for profit catholic hospital. I wish all women could have good healthcare! It has become a nation of haves and have nots with cruel consequences for the have nots.
