Like many Americans, I am inspired by President Obama's commitment to health reform. Unfortunately, what was missing from his most recent speech was a single reference to diet, exercise, smoking, stress, or anything related to the lifestyle choices we make each day.

The President talked extensively during his campaign on the fact many were without healthcare and that it was something he would change however as much as I am in his corner I believe in more what is right and what is wrong and what was wrong that he never took charge of the healthcare debate and along the weakness of the party to lead when clearly at this point they don't have what it takes to get it done. The President needs to speak up loud and clear and say I want a public option because it is cheaper it will save money which is what the gop pretends they are so interested in and mosdt important it will save lives. Were living in 3rd world it seems and people are more interested in money then ilife. What we all should realize is that one day and you never know when you or someone you love could be hit with something so big all the money in the world won't save you but you and I would at least when were down on our luck know people still care. Finally believe exception for a few who have bright minds most of the people runing this country are too old and should be made to retire.
