Congress is making up the rules as they go. This is tyranny!
It's time to make health coverage affordable to everyone. Get this passed and then we can start fine tuning it. The bill may not be pretty but it represents a huge step in the right direction and is far better then the mess we have currently that only benefits the insurance companies!.

Yes, your are right its time to make health care services affordable to every American citizen.
You are wrong in your thinking that providing money to a "for profit" middleman, that gets between the patient and the medical service, is going to reduce cost and make that medical service affordable.
If you don't see what this health care reform act really is, than shame on you for not educating yourself to what it really does.
Oh terrific another "deal" is close. Just wonder what backroom bargaining has she come up with this round.
Plain and simple. This health care reform act has demonstrated just how sick Washington has become and the sad part is, it won't cure itself.
Everything the government has run is bankrupt. Social Securty,Medicare and the list goes on.The increase in taxes to the rich and corporations will all be passed on to the middle class. In the end the middle class people will pay more for there health insurance and will get less. Then they will have to pay for people who wait for the government to take care of them and those people will have more. This is just a way for the libs to use your money to get votes.
We the people have not a clue of what the health reform entails. We are going on the assumption that the people doing the reforming knows what the hell they are doing. Same as we did with Bush when he invaded Iraq. I hope it works for some of you out there. I do not think it will work on account of the doctors, hospitals and all other medical professionals who think the lack of a ceiling is the limit of what can be charged. Pay no mind to what ever the market will bear but take em to the limit. Without reforming medical costs I do not think it will do any good to restrict insurance companies to who they accept and what to charge for a premium. Who of us are going to pay the excess billing over what the insurance companies do not pay. Doctors office visit went from a high already of $65. to a higher charge of $176. first vist and $109. there after. Outrageous considering the 3 minutes spent with the Dr was a waste of time anyhow. Blood scans increased from $109. to $379. for the same scan etc etc and etc. I do not like the health insurance companies because they are crooks however I think the medical professionals are bigger crooks with a bedside manner. After all they have the toughest, best funded and most ruthless labor union of all time, the AMA. ARRP doesn't even hold a candle representing seniors opposed to the AMA representing Doctors. My philosophy is and has always been if I need medical attention let me know what the charge is first and I will let you know whether to save my life or not. I will not pay more than $1000. over what the insurance company that I pay $400. a month will not pay. Then the burden of my life is put on the doctor, if he wants to accept what the insurance company pays as payment in full, fine but if he thinks his services are worth more, then let me bleed out right there. Same with ambulance services especially air ambulance. accept the insurance money only or don't move me from the accident scene thinking you are going to get paid in addition to what the insurance company pays. Of course i have to have no credit history to worry about ruining and also be judgement proof. I believe instead of trying to join the health care reform movement we should also be setting up a judgement proof life in case we ever need medical attention beyond a office visit. Let's be realistic, the majority of the people who have insurance are sacrificing any excess money they have to pay the premiums and any medical bill in excess of what the insurance company pays is simply not in the budget and WILL NOT get paid no matter what kind of threats the collection agencies make. AND anyone crazy enough to try and pay will sacrifice food, entertainment etc while the Dr is dining at a superb restaurant and driving a Mercedes. Don't listen to that crap they put out about the 7 years of college plus another 5 of residency. If we wanted to be a Doctor we would be a doctor but we are certainly not going to become an MD just so we can rip off the people who are sick and cannot afford to pay the outrageous fees even working two jobs. So the point I am making here is that if you earn a hundred to two hundred grand a year then this health reform is for you, the rest of us don't need it because we are not going to pay any excessive medical costs anyhow. Whoever came up with the idea in the insurance industry that we (ins co) can only provide coverage for part of the expense but that is okay and it is marketable to the stupid public because it is better than none and the Doctor will go along because he can bill the patient anything he wants and either collect or write it off on taxes and protect his income coming in on a different endeavor like his silent partner Taco Bells. This is being pragmatic and not cynical and I could be wrong in a few places but probably not.

That is my point about Washington being sick. The way, the procedures that are being used to get this passed. It's sick and the people who are doing it are sick. Why isn't this process open to the American people? What are they really hiding? If its so good than why hide it at all?
When elected people start hiding what they are doing by claiming its a good thing and we should trust them, well history has taught us what is really behind these actions, and its never a good thing.
