Battlefield medics will soon conduct mandatory examinations of service members who may have sustained concussions instead of waiting for them to complain of symptoms, the military's brain-injury experts said Wednesday.
Military aims for better concussion detection

To the military medics thank you and will done.
I think this is great! I was medically evacuated from Afghanistan after being in a car bombing in September and an enormous amount of effort was put into screening for TBI/concussion. I had a CT Scan in Bagram and another in Germany as well as additional checks in GA.
(I just want people to know that, because the Army is really trying to take care of its soldiers and it isn't really published a lot. Shortcomings make the news but successes don't so much.)
I think this goes a long way to help soldiers that may have sustained an injury but maybe it wasn't bad enough for a trip to the hospital. It seems like such a "silent" injury that can go unnoticed but can have such huge consequences.
Keep your horses healthy, who's going to plow your fields if you don't?
Good idea ,don't wait for complaints before checking this out!! There may not be any, if minor injury. Why wait until they are severe. And may be denied ,until severe and obvious.
