How does that happen? If smallpox is eradicated, where did it come from? To my knowledge, it doesn't just "manifest" out of thin air. First thought: Is it terrorism? But are terrorists really that dumb? They're dumb, no doubt, but something like smallpox is so devastating, that they would be destroying their own more quickly than their enemies.
Let's hope that it's just the chickenpox. It's not a pleasant experience, but it's not nearly as fatal.
I'm fairly certain there are many governments/militaries that still retain a stock of smallpox and I'm fairly certain they will use it in a large scale confrontation if they feel they have no other choice. It would be a devastating offensive weapon.
This occurs in a country, which is already in great distress over AIDS, civil conflict and lack of water or food. How does an outbreak, like this, just happen? I have more questions than the article, has answers for. This is not what any country in such deep poverty needs.
When they say the WHO, they're really talking about the international pharmaceutical industry, which owns and controls the WHO.
And, if the pharmaceuical industry is whippin' up another batch o' money-spinning "pandemic" (per the new definition that the drug trade told the WHO to adopt last year), then you can be sure there'll be money made by the indsutry and its operatives in the WHO, and misery and fear felt by us.
A Smallpox outbreak?
Sure. That could happen. But only if the companies/governments who own the remaining vials of the virus allow it to happen.
Let's hope that thios turns out to be nothing more than a Swine Flu-type (remember Swine flu?) episode of fearmongering deployed to create a new market, than anything actually likely to cause us all any lasting harm.
Wait a minute, I thought chickenpox was really scary and dangerous too! They give every child in the United States 2 doses of the chickenpox vaccine, and the vaccine is required for school in most states, unless the parent signs a personal beliefs or religious exemption. Now this article is saying chickenpox is not a big deal? What's going on?

Let's just hope that Homeland Security puts a halt to any immigration from Uganda. Bet they don't!
At least WHO is taking Smallpox seriously, I hope it is Chickenpox, wouldn't want Smallpox loose in this day an age!
Shouldn't these "experts" immediately know the difference?

Good Seed.
