Or maybe our immunity boosts our optimism. Or perhaps there is something beyond, that causes both.
It's curious, how people only want to go in one, linear direction when it comes to cause & effect.
In quantum physics it is known that time is not what it appears to be, and that we can go in any time-direction - not only forwards and backwords, but up, down, sideways and all other angles. This completely alters the view of cause and effect, doesn't it?
Put me in the incurable optimist column! I see the difference in my own family (8 siblings): those who were (and still are) pessimists as children have more and more ongoing health problems than the optimists in the family. Same upbringing, same food, education etc. but the gloomy Gus types and worrywarts are the ones with chronic illnesses. Don't know if you can "become" an optimist or if you're stuck with what you're born with, though they do say whatever your personality is as a young person gets more set as you get older (e.g. if you're snarky at 20, you'll be even more so at 60.)
great to know. where can i buy some? and how much?

Onward and sideways then....
Optimism......Like that does any good.
i'm guessing there are a lot of newsviners walking around with weakened immune systems.

It's amazing what the mind can do.
