We are getting the answers slowly and I have great confidence that we will have cures in the near future. The only thing I am not sure and confident over is health-care!
Awesome!!! Now that we have national health care, soon to be universal health care then we can have DNA profiling so that we can have preemtive cost of what a person will put on the health care system. Or even better, test the fetus inside of the womb and if it is determined to have genetics that will put too high of a burden on the health care system, then it will just be aborted.
Maybe I am just being paranoid.....
If you are a fetus or a senior you should be paranoid.
A torrent of decoded DNA info? Now there's a job for the masses of unemployed people - analyzing decoded DNA info. Of course, job training will be required, but this will help meet the flood of demand for these diagnostic tools.
