Government economic forecasters say President Barack Obama's health care overhaul will increase the nation's health care tab instead of bringing costs down. The report by economic experts at the Health and Human Services Department, released late Thursday, says the health care remake will achieve Obama's aim of expanding coverage.

Well lets see. Obuma lower your income tax, maybe! Obuma increased your medicare and SS tax. Starting 2011 you will be paying a new helath care tax, a new long term patient care tax on top of Medicare He's given "for profit" private insurance companies the right to tax you and (I love this) the right to determine what that tax will be.
Now there's talk that he's looking into a VAT tax(value added tax), the same kind that averages about 17, 18% in Europe and he's thinking of a Federal sales tax.
Just think of all the additional taxes he isn't telling people he's thinking about. I can't wait to see what they are.

Good thing we took our time on this Bill and didn't vote it into law before all the facts were known.

Take a picture of you paycheck and receipt that shows you a break down of your pay. Just to bring out when you're remembering the good old days before Obuma and you had take home pay because your weren't getting taxed to death by Obuma.

As to the rest of us: anyone who thought they were getting a free lunch are in for a surprise. VAT is coming round the bend folks and some of us (the 53% who actually PAY taxes) will be paying out as high as 75% of our income in taxes of one form or another! Our only reprieve is to vote democrats out of office in hoards and droves this November and then repeal the bill
Oh by the way, I dropped my membership in AARP when they first endorsed Obama care. Believe me, it is far more difficult to quit that organization than it is to join. They never once asked me or any other member how I felt about Obama care they just plugged the crap out of it. I'm old, but I'm not stupid.

Apparently a lot of people who get interviewed on the street think this health care reform act is going to get them free medical treatment and services from the government. They are unaware of the new taxes it's produced starting in 2011 and that they are going to be forced to buy an insurance policy from a "for profit" insurance company. It's really pathetic to hear these people. They have no clue to what is going on.
There's talk of a Federal sales tax in addition to the VAT tax.
Same folks thought Obama would pay their mortgage and give them free gas.
At some point calling for the overthrow of the government is an act of patriotism, we are getting very close. Federal taxes are well over 50% of many people's income NOW, let alone after the crap Obama is 'considering'.
Funny thing slavery- people do not like it and it is universally doomed to failure. Confiscatory taxes are a form of slavery. Figure it out.
