An internal government report says dogs are dying and living in horrific conditions due to lax government enforcement of large kennels known as puppy mills.
Why is the USDA governing puppy mills? This is insane - as are all the owners of these facility that torture and abuse the helpless animals. It needs to stop NOW!!
Just another useless agency of big brother. Puppies are not livestock or a farm product. You people are all idiots wanting more control over every aspect of YOUR life. How is the slavery thing going for you?
Anyone who buys a dog is gulity of the death of another; those who actually care about animal welfare adopt. I don't care if they're fond of a specific breed; there is a rescue group for many & the shelters are full of mixed & purebreds. I have 4 rescues, 2 mixed breeds, 2 German Shepherds, I actually saved 4 lives. As for the 'but, I bought from a reputable breeder' blah blah blah. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! You are still part of the problem, not the solution; if we all adopted from the shelters/rescue groups these puppy mills would cease to exist.
Please Do Something!
Please,Please,Please do something now !!!!!!!!!

If the USDA took the responsibility that they are given, it would mean mass arrests.

This is the type of mentality you get from a people mill. to bad it is not your children.
Evidentally lobbyists for the ethical treatment of animals haven't put enough
money in Vilsack's pocket to buy change yet. That plus the fact he must only care
about farm animals who can be sold or butchered.
No one caring about farm animals either, many are in abysmal conditions.
