Children who eat three or more burgers a week may be at a higher risk of asthma and wheezing, but a healthy diet rich in fruit and fish seems to stave off the risk, according to a large international study.

BS, and pot roast is OK? Maybe some beef ribs off the barby? Who thinks this garbage up?
Burgers typically have buns. Could it be that people have wheat allergies?
These reports irritate meĀ - my son was diagnosed with asthma at age 6 months....burgers weren't really a big part of his diet at that point!
I'm with you, but the article says it's not the food itself, it's the lifestyle of the people who tend to eat that much at those kinds of restaurants - lack of exercise, etc. My son was also diagnosed before age one, and we darn well it's a genetic issue from my husbands side of the family.
I think they may be referring to fast food burgers, which are loaded with crap that should never be in a burger.
But at the same time, this study is simply telling us what we should all know by now: eat healthier.
what a crock - no correlation to the actual burger eating, burgers do not lead to more asthma....the headline was meant to be misleading to get you to read the article! pure BS
