The only news here sounds like is the mom being cited for not being cooperative. I think the officer would have given her a warning after he collected the necessary information and performed a routine check. I think a lot of these news won't be news if us citizens would only work with our police force rather than against them.

What's to discuss. It's dangerous, stupid, abusive, and criminally insane. So you can see the child at all times? Big deal! So can the pervert who's watching, who can break a window and be gone in a second. I've seen women leave their children in a car, car running, a/c on, sure the doors are probably locked, but do you have any inkling of how fast someone can get into that car and be gone with that child? There is no excuse for it in this world of sex offenders and even car thieves, to leave a child in a car. NONE!
