I measure blood pressure two times for each patient in my clinic.
For patients with arrhythmia, 3 times.
When the value of the blood pressure is unreliable, I change the arm.
Arteriosclerosis should be assessed by microalbumin in urine, hypersensitive CRP and pulse wave velocity together, from many aspects, not only blood pressure.
The ideal blood pressure that reflects the risk of heart diseases better than the ordinary blood pressure is believed to be central arterial pressure, which is obtained by a special probe placed near the heart.
