I had skin cancer over five years ago and have worn sunscreen every day since. Now they tell us the thing that's supposed to protect us may be doing more harm than good.
And while they're at it, they should revisit a warning about avobenzone that came out awhile back, that it actually causes free radicals in skin when exposed to sunlight. I know that my skin looks ten years older by the end of the day when I use sunscreens with avobenzone as opposed to sunscreens without it. What's the incentive for these companies to spend money testing their products beforehand when the FDA allows them to release their products first and then use the general public as their personal lab rats?
Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. Since I get cancer either way, I'll stick with sunscreen. I'd rather get cancer without the additional pain of a sunburn.
A senator wanted this? Why don't these guys chill a bit and stop finding pies to stick their fingers in? Everytime ya turn around ya bump into a senator or congressman that wants to help you with your everyday living.
so for the last 15 months, since melanoma diagnosis, the very stuff i've used to prevent more skin cancer may very well promote it? huh. wtf?

"the FDA must act now to protect consumers, Schumer said"
Schumer uses sun screen so he knows it causes severe defects.
