An absolutely great story. If there's no need to fly these conjoined twins to the West that can only mean the Arab world has developed the know-how to do this kind of work.
Slowly but surely they're coming along and that can only mean good news for East-West relations.
That's amazing that al-Rabia has successfully operated on 30 conjoined twins. I'm wondering if this situation is more prevalent in 3rd world countries. It seems like we haven't had many conjoined twins in the United States compared to those I've read about in the Middle East and India. If they don't survive, we don't hear about them. I know that there are many highly skilled Middle Eastern & Asian physicians in the United States.
