How did all of you miss this...If ETDA was FDA approved for lead poisoning and if clincial trials where conducted prior to the FDA approval, the conclusion of the study had to be: EDTA is a safe effective treatment for lead poisoning, The reduction of CAD was simply discovered as a side effect of the FDA approved treatment for lead poisoning...sort of how Vigra was discover to treat ED and Asprin to prevent heart attacks, now that doctors are using it as a main treatment for CAD these groups of opposing doctors are contradicting themselves, by talking out both sides of their mouths and standing in the way of an effective treatment for CAD. Why?

Sounds like the heart surgeons and insurance industry response to anything that might cut into their extremely profitable surgeries. I've known someone who used chelation and had before/after angiograms that proved it worked. His doctor's response was that "diet and exercise really helped". (There was no change to diet or exercise.) He could not conceive of chelation actually helping, even with incontrovertable proof.
