This could and does happen at private facilities. But they do not get the attention that the VA does. Very seldom do you hear the good that is done at the VA's and that is ashame. If the general public only knew of the happenings at private hospitals they would much rather be taken care of by a VA.The Veterans Affairs Hospitals are surveyed by so many different entitys, you would not belive it. As far as hiring to quickly--it takes 6 months or longer and then there is a training period before they are on their own. The media should really look in the back yard of the private hospitals. Not all have problems, the same with VA's. Talk to Congress about shutting them down and taking care of the Veterans privately. The cost money wise and the care would not be good.
