Barbaric and cruel. As a healthcare professional, the thought of surgery without anesthesia is nauseating. No medications for the ill... they don't care. They will die off slowly from the sheer lack of proper healthcare.

Oh, the glories of Communism. Of course North Korea has no resources for food or medicine. Everything is being spent on - atom bombs! And guess who will be expected to take up the slack? The targets of those atom bombs of course - South Korea and the USA. Well, guess what? We ought to exact a quid pro quo. The complete dismantlement of North Korea's nuclear program and the democratization of its government, verified by American and South Korean experts, who will have free rein throughout the country - an occupation in everything but name. Victory 50 years later without firing a shot, and reunification under the right auspices, not like 1975.

Well, I guess it's getting that time, where the North Koreans will take matters into their own hands and forcibly remove their Communist government, and join the modern world. I'll bet though, that after seeing pictures from their May Day, there is going to be a lot of bloodshed because a lot of those soldiers looked awfullyyoung, and those are the easiest targets of brainwashing. If there is to be a all out rebellion, the South Koreans might need to help the North Korean citizens, and that will lead to all out war, and a possibility of Kim Jong II will do the unthinkable and launch Nukes at the South. It's going to get real ugly, real fast. Both China and Russia should step in in case things get out of hand. But, any more reports like this and most likely Kim Jong will close down all the newspapers and arrest all reporters writing stories about the lack of Medicine and the cruel human conditions. I can see this coming, and unless the US wants to totally commit to stopping these atrocities, they will go on to the breaking point, and once that happens, there's no looking back. just wish that Kim Jong would die, and the son that's next in line to rule, recognizes all the hardship his people are suffering through, and signs an accord allowing the UN Nuke Watchdogs access, and start dismantling their nuke, and in place, will get full cooperation with repairing their ailing Medical needs, getting doctors in to help, and turning the lights back out and bringing boat loads of supplies to their starving people, but, this will have to be done with the full cooperation with all the super Powers, And Japan, South Korea and so on to help these people that are in dire need of food, fresh water, and medical supplies. The Red Cross and all the other agencies have to stand up and pitch in. But, none of this help will happen until Kim Jong is dead. I just hope and pray that this all works itself out in the end, without another war starting.

To think things will change with the soon to be demise of the dear impotent pedophile leader is not reality. Do you think his equally deviant offspring was chosen for his intelligence or humanity? He was chosen because he is as heartless and self-loving as his father is. China will not allow for any strong leader to take over and possibly chart a coarse of democracy and freedom like what happened in Germany. The chinese leaders are more corrupt and inhumane than any other country in the history of the world. As long as the north koreans annoy the US and keep just short of commiting to all out selfdestruction then things will not improve for the people of north korea. We now see another example of how impotent the US has become with the UN resolution orchestrated by the chinese and the russians in regard to the sinking of the South Korean navy boat. So sorry north korea people we have a US government that talks big about human rights but doesn't think you deserve to get any.
