My 12 year old daughter is on a gluten free diet because she has Celiac disease. She gets sick at least once a month and I am always trying to make sure her food does not get contaminated. She misses school and other activities because of her getting sick. I wish the FDA would have strict standards on what is labeled as gluten free and have food items randomly tested to make sure companies are complying with those standards.

I still get sick and this is definitely a reason why. I was always being given gluten free stuff by people and the food would send me running to the bathroom. I wish the FDA would help us out with this issue. I'm tired of getting so sick.

I think it is always important to look at products as being questionable, unless they say it is made in a gluten-free facility or care has been taken to ensure no cross contamination occurs.
