I have been a RN for over 40 years and a diabetic for 8 years. I must tell you that this drug is all that it says it is.............My A1C is about 5/7 all the time. My blood sugars are very controlled, no more than 130 tops after a meal at random. A FBS will be about 105. I have lost about 70 pounds over two years, feel so much better.............I do take it as ordered, In the beginning I did have a mild side effect, minimal nausea, but my food portions are so liminted now. I have no additional illness now, the sude effect subsided and I am promoting this drug for any patient that might condider this. Don't let the medications derivitive turn you off, I had thought about it but what the hell. Look at me now........
