Any idea why the tea-party isn't defending the right of women to choose what happens to their own bodies?
Isn't that as basic as it gets for tea-party ideology?
My health insurance has never covered my birth control pills. Neither will my sister's insurance cover an elective hysterectomy, despite the agonies she suffers due to endometriosis. Why should the government or any insurance cover an elective abortion? It IS a woman's choice what happens to her own body, and if she chooses to have sex, she chooses the risk of becoming pregnant and having a child.
She can also choose to have an abortion. My insurance paid for mine. Know why? Because it would have been one less person for them to cover in the future and that's what they alllll try to get out of, isn't it?
