Wow. Perhaps you should educate yourself before you open your ignorant mouth. Dengue fever cannot be passed person to person. So unless you think that securing the border will keep all of the mosquitos out, you should shut up.
This has nothing to do with border security. Dengue is is prevalent in South America, Central America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and parts of Oceania. Any legitimate traveler to the United States for even a stay of a few days could bring in Dengue, get bitten by an Aedes mosquito, and that mosquito could infect another person...it's not the case that persons who enter the US illegally are more likely to be infected. And we don't have many Aedes mosquitos yet....
Its not the mosquitoes. Mosquitoes need to bite a host with the disease, they then spread the disease by biting someone else. Just one person bringing in dengue is enough for a mosquito to bite them and spread it to someone else.
I live in VA, but our health department periodically finds malarial infected mosquitoes. The mosquitoes didn't fly here from Africa. Someone with malaria flew here on a plane, then was bit by a mosquito.
Ignorant people making themselves look even more ridiculous than they already do. It's spread by mosquitos! And sophieanne hit it right on the dot, take a look at the article about it already being in Key West. An AMERICAN citizen visiting Key West got sick with it when she returned home. Maybe we should quarantine her and all the other Key West residents. And let's not forget to protect the border, we should put up a big net. Let's keep that mosquito and all the Mexicans outta here..............MORONS! It amazes me how ignorant some of these people are!
it sure is easy to spot the FOX News 'ringers' who love to camp-out here, they just knee jerk themselves into a lather over their own lack of education.
I guess if Beck doesn't tell them it is true they assume it is OK to let their "air raid siren" mouths fill the void with ignorant "Ignore- rants".
They probably think that they can get food poising from a toilet seat too!
BTW....
Arizona has been dealing with this problem for a LONG time, as I assume all border states have been.
Have to say I find it appalling that someone would hope for another person to get this. As if a human life has no value. And we call ourselves a country of Christians? Personally, I don't find it very Christ like to wish something like this on anyone. Perhaps, those of us who consider ourselves Christians need to get out our Bibles and learn about the actual teachings of Christ.
Seems theres hope for the U.S. afterall.
Unless the daily flood of illegals bring it with them.
Just another reason to secure the border. It only takes one infected person to start the spread in the US.

did you even read the information on how dengue is spread...by a mosquito....by a mosquito...

Hemorrhagic dengue is not spread by human contact. Now I suppose you'll want to hang a mosquito net over the border to keep out the mosquitos.
Please get a clue before posting.

IF you go to Mexico prepare for the unexpected.
