the bed bugs come from all the foren coming to the us on vacation or to live here they bring them from there country. The Mexicans are the biggest cause of the bed bug problem in there country they have no means of getting raid of them there for when they come across the border into the US they bring the bugs with them. in any community where it is predominately Hispanic there are bed bugs i am a apartment manger this is what i deal with.
Funny you say that Wilson. I started dating a hispanic man after my divorce. One of them brought bed bugs into my home. I only found out because he had them at his home too. I had never heard of anyone having them before this. But then again, it's spreading everywhere. These bed bugs suck.....literally.
I read this article because my niece recently moved into a house that was infested, and I wanted to learn more about this in case she somehow brought them into my home, but I found the article not to be very helpful. Especially the part describing how to avoid them. It said look for evidence. What evidence?
Please try to research your articles better, this infestation started at least a year ago and people and the Military have discovered that a natural pesticide is much more effective than any pesticide the " Distinguisher" can use.
It's the Water Soluble Oil of the Cedar Tree. I use Cedarcide to prevent infestation ( they just wont go where that stuff is and it smells like Cedar ! )
What it does is " shutting down the "breathing pores" of the mite, they die within seconds.
Further more, they can smell that stuff and just wont go where it's been used.
It is so safe that you can rub it on your skin ( it's actually good for your skin ).
No,I do not work for a Company that sells Cedar Products.
Bedbugs have been around for a very long time. My ancestors, all white Europeans, were in North America before the American Revolution, and they sometimes had problems with bedbugs in their small-town homes.
I grew up in the 1950s knowing the nursery rhyme "Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite."
So to blame Mexican immigrants for bed bugs is is total nonsense.
Also, Mr. Wilson should consider studying English. Foren, us (for US), getting raid, there country, i versus I.
M1keM1lls, you can see the adult ones, which are about 1/4 inch long. the "baby" ones from recently hatched eggs are so tiny the average person would easily miss them.
To M1keM1lls, do you have mutltiple small itchy red bumps on your skin, especially around the face, lower legs and forearms that you can not explain. If you do, you may have an infestation of some sort of biting insect such as bed bugs or fleas. I say may have, because some medical conditions sometimes produce similar itchy bumps. If you have itchy bumps go to a health care professional to rule out a medical condition and to determine if they are insect bites.
If you have been biten, contacting a professional exterminator is important. We moved into an apartment that had been vacant for 4 months. Within 2 weeks of moving in we had an infestation of fleas. We tried the self-help route. After using bug bombs on three seperate occasions our apartment manager finally called a professional. If our manager had called a professional immediately, she could have saved us 12 weeks of hell.
Even with professional help, getting rid of biting insects is long and difficult process. We were lucky, and were able to save our stuff. If this hadn't happened during the middle of winter in Alaska we probably would have lost all of our stuff that couldn't be put through a dishwasher or washing machine. Fleas and their eggs don't like the cold. To save our stuff we had to pack it up into sealed bags and leave it out for two to three weeks in sub-freezing temperatures. Then, we had to wash everything that could be washed. Dishes, Clothes, blankets, pillows, childrens toys and furniture. Every surface of every piece. The only things we couldn't wash were our matresses and couch. Thankfully the really cold temperatures killed all the fleas and eggs in those items.
One way to help prevent getting insects, is to pour liberal amounts of powdered borax onto your carpets, leave it over night, and vaccuum it up in the morning. Insects also do not like cloves or peppermint oil. Borax can be purchased from the laundry section of most stores and is safe for human use. Cloves and peppermint oil are also safe to use around humans.
bedbugs coming to U.S.A. from imports. get rid of them by using borax..sprinkle on, vacuum off. borax gets rid of fleas on carpets..sprinkle throughout house, vacuum up..do it twice a month to stay free of fleas, bedbugs, spiders..
You can see bedbugs, the nymphs (young) are dificult to see until they get their first blood meal, they then turn brown or a reddish color.
Bedbugs first entered the U.S. via the bedrolls of U.S. Soldiers returning from Germany during/after WWII. The bedbugs were almost eradicated from the U.S. several years later through strong pesticides; these pesticides are no longer on the market.
I have done pest control for 12 years & unfortunately, they have re-emerged over the past couple of years here in Florida. I just completed an extremely bad infestation of a home; it took 3 treatments over a week.
some facts about your bed bug story , facts from one who is at the present dealing with it . they are not only nocturnal ! they are very very active at the dinner time hours (dusk) and i have seen them out at 2 in the afternoon ! they are very plentiful in mexican areas, (people coming back and forth from mexico(illegals) and also from india , they also come back and forth on a continual basis ...if we could keep those people out of our country and the bed bugs will stay out of our beds ! i live in a chicago suburb..they are here too , but its all keep and the hush hush !. in over 2 months we have not slept at night! i have 3 kids who are scarred of their rooms / their beds ! my 6 yr old will not be left alone even in the bathroom ! i live in a fairly nicer place next to some places that we live near ( 1300.00) a month in rent ! my son has mexican friends who's homes are thoroughly horribly infested ! my son's 8 th birthday party we had neighborhood kids here .....then after the party 2-3 mornings kids were horribly bitten ( my 8 yr old has over 500 scares on him my 6 yr old not as badly , my 12 yr old has escaped the entire thing strangely enough- but it still makes my cry when i see what has been done to their beautiful skin ) we found out the truth about all the buildings in this complex , ( most landlords are not addressing the issue nor is the homeowners association) we also found out that the landlord right next door we have a common wall with had them so badly in that place that the people moved out crawling on walls daytime ! < the husband had been sleeping around with a illegal woman from mexico ,. here are on a continual basis every week wednesday night before garbage day , beds , couches, furniture , one bed was tossed even with sheets on it ! i had called teh city that man told me the garbage does not mean a thing and there is no problem like that here , the state ( springfeild ) told me its not their problem , the county said what do you want us to do ? now my 2 sons are scared for life ! no one is held responsible for this ??? but if i was a physco parent that scarred their kid that would be an issue right ??? landlords and neighbors , housing officials knew this but no one is responsible ? d no one here in illinois seems to care not the state , county or local health depts. not our housing people , they sais if we make a big deal over this they wil infact take my housing voucher away , then we would be homeless ! so far now i have a 205.00 water bill i can not pay from washing everything 6 times over , a 293.00 gas bill from having to crank up the hot water heater to help kill the bugs , 250.00 for the cheapest ! the treatment that takes atleast 3 times to hopefully work ! had to throw away half of what we had , sleeping on hardwood floors now all because of this .. and no one will help i have even called state reps , they never returned any calls .. i am sure that you too could careless but here are facts about the real deal of what goes on in your story !
For everyone taking shots at Mike Wilson, it may not be the "PC" thing to say, some may not like hearing it but, he is not completely off in what he says. It's true that bedbugs have been around forever however, look around, they have become an epidemic in many places, do a google search on the problem and you can see just how bad these infestions have become all over the U.S. I can recall my grandmother talking about getting rid of them from time to time, that was something like 50 or so yrs ago and it was nothing like we're seeing now. My entire life, up until the most recent couple of years, I had never seen one or heard of anyone in our area actually having them, the only time you would hear mention of them was when someone would use the old saying "sleep tight don't let the bedbugs bite". In the area where I live you'd rarely come across any immigrants, most all the hispanics in our area were Hispanic-Americans who were born here. In the past 3-4 years we started to see immigrants moving into the area it started off slow an began to increase quickly. Now you see them everywhere, we have entire blocks that where the residents are all immigrants. Some have anywhere from 5 up to 10 and maybe more all living in the same house or apts. and just as they appeared so did the bedbugs. Now I don't think a week goes by or in some case even a few days where you don't hear someone saying they found bedbugs or have moved into a new place that has them. I have nothing against immigrants personally, the ones I have actually met and talked to are very nice, decent people but, there is no denying that the problem we're seeing with bedbugs, at least where I live, began around the same time as immigrants started moving into the area. People may not like hearing it, I'm not trying to be mean, bash or hate on immigrants I'm just stating the truth, they didn't creat them but, the spread of these things has definitely been aided by the increase in immigration.
The video shows how to stop bed bug bites immediately and how to easily kill 100% bed bugs behind wall and under carpet. 99.99% experts don't know how to get rid of bed bugs at such a low cost.

I heard that people named "wilson" are the primary source of scum in the USA. This is not the first incident of a "wilson" spouting tripe.
No, no no... NOT Wilson. Wilson is a volleyball floating in the Pacific somewhere. I don't think he's beached and started spreading these pesky pests.

Thanks for the info on Cedarcide. I'm on my way to the store.
And an obvioulsy prejudiced apartment manager you are as well as ignorant.
Mike Wilson doesn't have a clue about bedbugs.

Can you see bed bugs? How do I know if they're living in my house?
Trust me, you will know. They are very sneaky, but you will have little brown/red stains on your sheets.

Booboo, you have no idea what you're talking about. Borax only irritates them & they will return. Borax will NOT kill bedbugs.
