I wonder how many cats and dogs will be dumped at the side of the road, or in the woods, or taken to the local pound due to the Media's handling of this story. "omigod the sky is falling" yet once again. The bags affected are apparently from ONE factory, and the companies are putting out the numbers ON the bags so they can be discarded.

The media including MSNBC is putting out stories that imply for years now children have been killed by touching cat or dog food/ their dishes/ etc. How about some sensible perspective here.
