So it's possible, for instance, that doctors are more often referring children to hospitals for evaluation and treatment than they had in years past, Routh explained.
Same old excuse. We're not seeing more violence, it's just reported more. Children aren't damaged by being raised from birth by strangers, it's just that doctors didn't recognize autism in the past. It's not that more kids are really getting kidney stones -- just that doctors are referring them to hospitals more often.
Kidney stones are incredibly painful. A kid is not going to be sent home with kidney stones.
I think they are just covering all of the bases by saying that. After all, they do have to take into account that the increase of cases was not a representative sample of the population. If it is in fact found that more kids are not actually getting kidney stones (which I doubt), this article would be a laughing stock. Simply making that statement, they have an ace in the hole. However, I can't say I don't agree with you to some degree......Although I'm not sure I understand your autism reference.
My autism reference is that babies who are separated from their mothers fail to thrive physically, emotionally, psychologically, and intellectually, and the resulting syndrome is, these days, often diagnosed as autism.
It is an extremely unpopular position. Nevertheless, I am certain it is accurate.
Ah, I can see why its so unpopular. I have seen very little research that supports that argument. I would have to disagree. I would definitely be interested to read more about it if you are aware of any peer reviewed articles supporting it.
Maybe our childrens diet is to blame, Happy Meals, tons of soda....a lot of it given to the children in schools, lack of exercise...how can kids make the right choices when the parents don't...knock off the sugary drinks...water is fine, they won't need to see a therapist later in life if they did not get soda...I haven't drank a soda in over 35 years and I am 50..
