Bad idea to curb the tax free status for the employer health plan. The biggest problem with health care is the incompetence of the workers from physicians to medical records to billing all have workers who have trouble with the English language. Many of the policy's are corrupt and lead to redoing tests. example i had great insurance with cigna from siemens medical systems when while traveling on business with my spouse i aspirated a french fry we went directly to the er. they did wrong test. they did chest xray and discovered i needed a laxative that is what they prescribed and released me. the french fry is still in the lung it is calcified now according to two ct's reviewed in aug 2008 in Rochester Minn. mayo clinic.calcified granuloma right lung upper lobe, calcified subcarinal nodes.negative adrenals. i could only stay a week. the physician wanted me to stay over a month. he had pulmonary doctor appt lined up.he would be the sixth pulmonologist. Dr. Villaraga also mentioned i have a problem with my diastolic system. yes i do a big congenital heart defect problem only a real expert would have a clue about. i have not seen an expert yet. I did see a cardiologist who said during heart cathe "what the hell is this?" then wrote normal study in my medical records.2008 mayo's echo's not normal and that 2003 heart cathe not normal. returning to the lung issue. five pulmonary doctors have seen me over the last 15 yrs tests no help harmed by advair and other drugs. primary care said( after returning from the mayo clinic, he never spoke with Dr.Villaraga about me) " your tests results from the mayo clinic look good." i said a heart rate of 22 looks good to you? he said your tests are consistent with the other people living in this area". i thought have they all aspirated food and been born with defects? In conclusion regardless if i had insurance or not a lot of money has been spent with no help. I have been harmed many times. I am very aware that they are just PRACTISING medicine.

I really hope they don't do this, there has to be a better way to cover costs than to take away the pre-tax.....
