what gets sent out by whom doesn't matter. if a cartel is intercepting drugs and replacing them with counterfeits, then simply sending more won't fix the problem.
I think it is wonderful that Pitt Boss's church sends medication to Africa.
But let us not forget that charity begins at home.
There are millions of Americans with no health insurance. Maybe the churches in the US could band together as Christians to provide free medication to Americans who need it, and to demand access to health care for all their fellow citizens.
'Charity begins at home.' Maybe it does, but I have seen that term used for every reason not to help those in desperate need. How far do our 'home' borders extend? Our household, our street, our nation? I just want to share that although we are going through a lot in this country at the moment, America is one of the most blessed countries in the world. It only takes a trip to some parts of Africa to make us realise that we are all God's children and some of God's children are really suffering. Help wherever and whenever you feel led to - that's where charity truly begins.
People are looking for afordable drugs, you will buy the cheapest drug either fake or not.The solution is for the govt to subsidies this popular drugs ,so that it will not be pfofitable for the people making the bad drugs. Most of this fake drugs comes from China.
Even REAL malaria drugs arent expensive in the 3rd world and some are even made in africa. I think this is a a brilliant program. Of course the cheapest, most effective treatment was DDT but the eco-mentalists got the mushy headed politicians to forbid it as part of foreign aid because americans where overusing it. Africans never went overboard with it. They used it indoors and it smells bad enough that they'd only use as much as actually needed. Thanks for the 1 million avoidable deaths per year, morons!!!!
my church will send real medication to africa to help people......we must work together to end malaria.........which of you will stand with me?
