Strange, being hungry usually makes me feel sleepy.

If I am dead tired and starving, I'd rather sleep. I can't fight it off for too long, UNLESS, I was busy doing something then I become alert, but I have to keep mobile. I am willing to go to sleep hungry and wake up ready to eat like a tiger.

I can't sleep if I'm hungry. Being sent to bed hungry as punishment would be my idea of torture.

Gee, what a revelation. Our ancient ancestors needed to get us to where we are now.

That means being awake (not sleepy) in order to keep food in our bellies (no snack foods way back then).

What revelations all these news stories are.

These starving fruit flies are the oppisite of me when I'm starving and tired. When I'm tired my hand eye coordination is off and I slur my words and don't say things in the correct order. People accuse me of being drunk but these fruit flies are aware until they eventually die of starvation but they saw that coming.
