you people are pathetic...if you have problems go to the doctor if your worried, if you cant ask your family and friends to help you, if its that bad, stop using Msn for advertisements to your own caterings..if you really had real problems i think the real average reader and me would of seen you type deeper....
If you married the wrong man or woman thats your fault..Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder and some of you Love Ugly, Nasty, Whatever as long you feel whatever you may desire in some Kind of Way...you should take care of yourself better...even when it comes to love...and also...its The women who choose their mates...well Guys Go create or should i say PRO-CREATE...
Regarding acne, don't forget that eggs and chicken meat may be an exercerbating factor. I am not sure whether it should be called a slight allergy or what, but five days after I eat eggs or chicken meat, my skin breaks out. If you have some 'base' acne and wish to test if an egg or chicken free diet may reduce the problem, don't forget that the body washes out these substances very slowly. Only when no change has occurred after two months of a chicken and egg free diet can you say that there is no influence.
Wow.. ths is a ridiculously thin-veiled advertisement for a truckload of cosmetic goods. While the topic was valid and intersting, the incessant need to pitch a specific name brand items for each condition pretty much devalued the discussion. So no, this did more to avoid these products and dismiss much of any "news" in this area from Allure or MSNBC.
You're totally right -- this is a classic advetorial.
It's total bull, too; there is no way this writer is medically qualified to give dermatological advice. Anyone who thinks medical problems can be solved by cosmetic companies is at best extremely naive, at worst; a total snake oil salesman.
Don't get me wrong -- it's possible this writer is both.
If you can't afford a dermatologist and your skin is acting up, I suggest reading Paula Begoun's books (The Beauty Bible or CosmeticsCop.com) and then investing in some high-tech skin care -- like baking soda and tepid tap water.
What can be done for tight, dry and discolored skin on the legs due to circulation problems? Please address more than just the prettiness factors when dealing with this issue.
Ok--so YOU are having a crisis, so YOU must put on a good face so that others will not be bothered by YOUR crisis. How dare you upset others by your being upset by things that happen to you that you have no control over! Hey, you can manipulate the way you look, just to be polite and sunny when the chips are down--as if that would be the first thing on your mind when adversity strikes! I don't normally talk like this--but--WTF????
My sweet old cat died recently. You know, I really don't give a crap if my grief shows on my face, and I sure am not rushing out to buy cosmetics to make me look better. Yes, an article on stress and health is a great idea, but I don't use cosmetics and sure am not starting now. How about we feel what we feel without being reminded we may not present our hurt, sad, or stressed faces to the world without perking them up first. Seriously grow up and get a bit of maturity. Our lives are on our faces of course, and at the moment I don't give a crap.
And by the way, the things listed aren't most crises. They are just life, and although can be stressful they aren't crises. Can we say catastrophizing?
I got a terrible rash (pityriosis rosea- or something like that?) before I married the wrong guy!!

I am under stress but I don't have any skin problems.

Occurs to me that if the man she DID marry is "impossible," that she ain't no easy keeper herself! Wonder what sort of skin problems HE has?

Advetorial. An apt neologism.
Must be a chick thing...
