My daughter had a suspected issue and I had five ultrasounds between 31-41 weeks. I saw the headline and thought “Great, WTF did we screw up with all those tests?” I guess at least I’m glad the ultrasounds didn’t (as far as we know) hurt her.
At the end of the article though, I was thinking about all the press related to high c-section rates. Induced labors increase the chance of a c-section. So now parents get to worry about having an induced labor end in a c-section vs. letting a pregnancy continue too long. Ug!! Sometimes technology seems to create more problems than we had before.
