Funding for epilepsy research is ignored again. I wonder what is meant by "auto injuries"--are they including closed head injuries? That might help some people with seizures--eventually--maybe. (Sigh.) Most literature on epilepsy states that 1% of people on earth have some sort of seizure disorder, and 85% of that number have no known cause for their seizures. That's a lot of people to ignore.
AIDS, yes. That falls under what I consider the CDC to have the responsibility to control. Everything else on this list of six is nonsense for the CDC. Teen pregnancy? Really?? Auto injuries?
