Could this by the reason there are a multitude of various illnesses now-days. It's taken 20 plus years for us to pollute our childrens & ourbodies with bpa?
Designer drugs with harmful side effects are a factor, heavy metals in most vaccines is a factor, inhaling carcinogenic fumes that outgas from the interiors of new cars is a factor, inhaling carcinogens from fossil fuel burning is a factor, the list goes on and on and on...
Typical government band-standing. They decided that the BPA use would be good politics for them for the next election. Now that it is clear from research that BPA in not retained in the human body and produces no damage when present, the Canadian Govt. should issue a dis-claimer acknowledging that BPA is safe and that they were poorly informed (or some other excuse). Politicians worldwide seem to be the same , that is, selfserving.
BPA chemical bad, Canadian destructive oil sands development good? The world knows how bad Canada is destroying it's environment extracting oil sands, but they are worried about BPA which has proven to be safe by every other country in the world. Go figure. Have a scoop of oil sands with that Coke?
Now if they-d only do the same (ban) for bisphenol AF (hexaflorine (spelling is approximate). It would be a great start on finally curbing The WorldWide PetroChemical choke hold on our lives.
All plastics should be banned . Ha. Now I get to hear from all you fine people that make the mess (chemists and Co.). Maybe you-all should have been wood-workers or silver-smiths instead of merchants for disability, disease and death.
That seems a bit of a gross over generalization of the process. Cellulose is used to make plastics as well. that's plant material. Trees qualify in that category and have been thus used if memory serves. I understand plastics can be derived form things like corn oils too. It seems to be why cats like to chew on plastic grocery bags. Silver smithing? Really? I've read where toxic chemicals are routinely encountered in that field as well. And don't look now, but you're still supporting the Worldwide Petrochemical choke hold just by commenting here. The ability to do so implies you're life is 'enriched' with the benefits of Petrochemicals and plastics. Thus making you as well a merchant, or agent, for disability, disease, and death. How about an idea of what to substitute or way of reasonably phasing it out. I think it would take some while to accomplish fully. a decade or more i should think. You have to address demand as well a supply. only by suppression, by whatever means, of both will this be actually possible. there's a bit more too it than that, but that's simple generalization.
