Wow.. what is this like the 10th time in the last couple of months.. reviewing, rescinding , revoking.. I agree, what other drugs have they approved that don't work or the risks aren't being fully disclosed...

I had a 'Natural Knee' knee replacement in 2004 and have had problems ever since. My body has been trying to reject the device since then.In May of this year I had it revised with parts from the company that made it but now 5 months later it is starting to do the same. I wish someone could help me.

Before the device on the market, the company is supposed to do research and testing before applying to human beings.

And, the company should have the data about the device and should review and have follow up study for those who have received surgery/the device.

First, let's be sure that indeed the congressmen did what they are accused of. Apparently this sort of thing goes on all the time, which is why we ought to do away or severely restricts lobbyists. Perhaps their only contact should be in a public hearing where everyone gets the same amount of time to make their appeal, then it ought to be illegal for there to be other contact.

And our President, needs to fire some FDA butts and give a sound verbal thrashing to the congressmen.

It will be wonderful when the people we choose to represent and protect our interests, and concerns do what the hell they were elected to do, instead of allowing lobbyist to line their damn pockets with "special interest" monies,gifts,etc. Some medications,devices ought not ever make it to the FDA however, I guess if the lobbyist is coming with enough money, the citizens of this great nation need to beware. When is enough enough? I am sick of "all" these lying hypocrites. The one thing that has remained consistent in all these yrs. is our ability as a people to wrap our brain around the bull**** spewed by want to be congress men and women, senators,presidents,supreme court judges, and the like. To all persons considering medical implants do your homework, ask your doctors all the ?'s you can think of before signing a consent form. The other concern being doctors receive kickbacks from companies if the doctors use said companies products, just be careful please, it has become crystal clear we have to navigate through the bull****, as best we can on our own, because these elected as well as appointed ones just don't give a happy damn about "we the people".

What the hay? How can an implanted device, which is obviously new and foreign to the body be re-absorbed? To be re- absorbed, something has to have been originally part of the body! Ignorant writer, unobservant editor!
