That sort of belief is more along the line of the liberal/leftist mindset. Are you really interested in their ordeal living in the dirt or are you more interested in the dirt of their personal lives. You don't know who the Don-o I refer to is? That Don-o is my rather humorous reference to you. I might have thought you to be a bit quicker on the uptake that that. I am curions as to information you have at your disposal that would lead you to the comment; "The same cannot be said of you." You seem willing to come to conclusions without adequate facts....not a very conservative trait.

I always conduct myself on these boards with as much dignity as a particular subject merits. And very little in the way of subject matter here could be, in the farthest stretch, serious or demanding totally humorless, stone-faced demeanor. This is entertainment, that's all.

However, never, in either written or oral discourse, even in the most humorous and/or non-sensical subjects, have I ever been at such a loss for words that I was left with nothing but the profane term for sexual intercourse in refering to another poster.

And you felt the need to find humor in my name, why? And as far as my conclusions go. I've always heard that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then most likely it is a duck. And somehow I also get the feeling that this was not the first time in your life that you have been told to go F--- yourself. And most likely it will not be the last. I really have come to the conclusion that you only come to the boards to get off on making fun of people. If you really want to deny that you are a liberal, then maybe you ought to think about changing parties. And if you really do believe that you are not trying to speack for the rest of the world, then start using I instead of WE in your comments.

This thread is not about political parties; are you confused about that as well?. Now; exactly what evidence did you consider in coming to your "walks like a duck" conclusion(s)? I don't believe I wrote anything here that would lead you to any such specific conclusions. Did you make it up?

I have been told to do what you told me to do. However, it was by someone who had the guts to do it to my face in person. I don't take much stock in little keybord tough guys who bang out profanities toward others while while hiding in the shadow of their computer monitor.

And, yes, I did want to interject humor, i.e. the Don-o. As I said in my ealier post, there is almost nothing on these boards that is of a truly serious nature and I have a news flash for you, Don-o; this topic is not one of them. Non-serious topics arr vulnerable to humorous and/or non-serious comment and retort....and rightly so Initially I thought perhaps you were just fooling around but apparently you were trying to be serious (though not really succeeding). Only two wars? You're way behind, Don-o. I served two combat tours in Vietnam. I also saw combat in Grenada, the Gulf War, and Somalia....four Purple Hearts total. I'd have to say that, in two of those, I was in SO so my fighting in those was not so much "out in the open."

I also have my own life tragedies but I don't need to feed on other people's misfortune to make me feel better about them. My humor is humor, pure and simple. There is nothing perverted, sick, or even profane about it. Perhaps you don't comprehend or appreciate it but that would be your isssue, not mine.

I'm hardly hiding behind anything. The user name I chose is a nom d'plume that I chose just for fun, like many others on Newsvine have done; nothing unusual about that.
