 Shouldn't medical personel be washing their hands before touching a patient no matter what they are doing?  They have to be TOLD this?

In America we are told MRSA is just a part of acceptable standards of care, at least that's my understanding after contacting health departments, state agencies, etc. No one who should be doing something about this is doing their job ! www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=62 MRSA is going to be the next AIDS, just slower to get to the healthy adults, it has affected patients in nursing homes horribly and now children from new borns to age 5 are dying from MRSA complications at a faster rate than ever. Hospitals are breeding MRSA and spreading it into our communities and it's okay, America has become the land of the Fraudulent, Deceptive, Greedy Corporations. We have the best Congress money can buy. At least that's the way it is in VA - 09 congressional district where we have the worst access to health care in the Nation and free clinics being over taxed and have to turn down people. Where do they go ? Home and suffer, wait another year before Remote Area Medical comes back to town and try again. Sadly the health care system puts profit care ahead of patient care.

My husband died from mrsa in 2008 it spread in to his intestines from his toes being amputated. not a good year.
