Esiac Tea has been used by the Ojibway tribe in Canada for centuries to cure cancer. The medical industry tested it in 1922 and found it to have an 80% success rate it 2 to 4 weeks. If you get organic herbs through herbalhealer.com it only costs $50 for a two week supply. A 2 oz bottle of bloodroot extract through iherb.com will last around 2 months and only costs $12. If you "just say no to drugs" it cost less and is more effective.
Stuart - I'm sure that Big Pharma is hard at work finding an ineffective and dangerous synthetic "equivalent" to patent and make billions on. After all, you can't patent mother nature, you can only discredit her.
Tarceva and Iressa costs about $3,000.00 a month and at best, extends life 6 months! I've done my homework.
Over 2 (7/08) years ago my husband, 63, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer in the left upper lobe. He did the first course of chemotherapy (cisplatin/taxol). 5 months later (3/09), he had a left upper lobectomy which they were successful in removing (this was the primary tumor). Although at the time of his first chemo I addressed another "spot" on his lung which his oncologist addressed and ignored, in July, 09, the tumor the oncologist ignored had now grown. Not trusting this oncologist, we sought out another. After this consultation, we also learned that he had a "suspicious" spot on the T-8 of his spine. She recommended more chemo. He had two more rounds of chemo (Carbo/Gem and Taxotere). Basically at this point, his current oncologist was not very optimistic about his outcome. Perhaps 10 months to 1 year. While the side effects were minimal, he was very frustrated about the outlook as well as how bad he felt, not to mention the cost. Hope you're sitting down.....each treatment was billed out at about $60,000.00 and to add insult to injury, the Neulasta shot he had to get the day after chemo (to boost white blood cells) cost $11,000.00! I hope the cost of all this makes you as sick as it makes me! As he neared his last treatment of Taxotere he just decided he had had enough and wasn't going for the last treatment.
While I was concerned, I supported his decision. After a lot of discussion as to options and realizing there were no others, (she did approach him about Tarceva, but with the information above, he decided 6 months of misery wasn't worth $3,000.00 a month.
He came home and spent literally weeks looking at the treatments they do all over the world from Mexico to Canada to Germany, etc. He extracted all of the similar treatments/vitimins/supplements and came up with a list that literally ALL of the clinics used; ordered what he could and started taking them. While there are about 25 vitimins/supplements, etc., (B-17, curcurmin, tumeric, sovereign silver, CoQ10...the list goes on) and a strong will to survive!
Here we are over 2 years later and other than shortness of breath on exertion due to the absence of part of his lung, he is doing FANTASTIC. There are no outward signs of the cancer. We don't know if the cancer has spread or what the future holds, all we know is that he is still alive and doing exceptionally well. He just added high dose (75 grams) IV Vitimin C that he receives in Georgia (cost is about $150.00).
The point to this posting is that as long as there is money to be made, there will NEVER be a cure for cancer! I thank God every day that I have a husband that was smart enough not to give up and think outside the box. I'm so blessed. I'll say a prayer for all those who still suffer.
It discusses making "liposomal Vitamin C" at home. Liposomal Vitamin C is basically Vitamin C encapsulated in microscopic globules of lecithin. There is a drug which has been shown to be successful in treating cancer but you are not allowed to use it!
Researchers at the Medical College of Virginia discovered that this drug is incredibly successful in reducing many types of tumors, both benign and malignant (cancerous). The DEA and other federal agencies had ordered these tumor studies done after hearing erroneous reports of possible immunological problems associated with this drug. But, in 1975, instead of health problems, an apparent medical breakthrough occurred and successful tumor reductions were recorded!
Following this remarkably positive discovery by the Medical College of Virginia, orders were immediately handed down by the DEA and the National Institute of Health to defund all further research and reporting regarding this drug!
Millions of Americans who might be alive today are dead because of these and other DEA orders regarding the drug. Since 1996, the Medical College of Virginia has again applied to receive grants to do further research on the drug and has been turned down by the DEA.
What is this drug that you are not allowed to use?
Go to Google Video and watch: "Run From The Cure - The Rick Simpson Story".

I am sick to my stomach,. I have been saying this for the six months I watched cancer tear my family apart. I just wish I could get my hands on these people who make the decision to have our loved ones die.. and see the tears of the little ones as their world is turned upside down. I am so tired of the regulations and selfishness.. Cancer is killing people.. and they can sit back and allow it. SHAME ON THEM
Bravo Jherek Carnelian; I have had the honor to have known Jack Herer personally, I met him in 94 in Seattle. I had numerous occasions to "Visit" with Jack and have 4 of his autographed books. I have copied and gave away over 3,500 Hugh Downs Hemp Commentary audio recordings, (now on Youtube). I have also watched Run From The Cure and have used Ricks formula with amazing results. I think that tobacco use is the primary indicator for Lung Cancer. I am tracking a 1.1cm pulmonary nodule with a follow up PET scan scheduled in Dec. I grew up in a smoking house and smoked from my teens until my 40's when I had a stroke. I have been tobacco free for 4 years, but my father died a horrible death from Lung Cancer attributed to smoking and I hold tobacco companies responsible for his death and my worry. If smoking was eliminated worldwide then we would see lung cancer incidents decline by approximately 90%. It is great that we can develop drugs that ease the suffering of even a few. But the real cure is to eliminate tobacco use in all forms from the planet and take all holdings/profits/investments/and any other identifiable assets from the tobacco companies to care for and treat the plaque they have rendered upon us.
I agree with you. Tobacco companies should be held however they dont care. They can stop selling it and we can try to eliminate this awful cancer. Although so many other factors besides the smoking are contributed.. our country allows all things if they make the money .. that is all its about is money.. its just so sad. We watched my childrens hearts break and still breaking after their grandfather died.. I will never understand.
Very true regarding tobacco use, but lung cancer can affect many who have never smoked. Some folks have smoked for decades, and not had one problem or bad result from tobacco use. Others have succumbed within a very short period of time. I think it all boils down to genetic factors and luck. My 82-year-old mother has been smoking since she was 8. It's been an ugly factor in our whole family's life, but she hasn't had any lung cancer problems at all. (Other cancers--yes, but not lung.) On the other hand, my ex's aunt came down with lung cancer and had never smoked or been around anyone who did. Nevertheless, it would be wonderful if at least one cancer could be erradicated or reduced by continued research and medications.
I am really sorry about your father and your situation however blaming the tobacco companies for creating a product is not the answer. For hundreds of years people have been smoking (I don't). No one puts the cigarette in your hand. You made the choice to start and you also finally made the choice to quit. Anyone with half a brain should be able to figure out that intentionally putting smoke into your lungs is bad. Firemen die from smoke inhalation after all. Why, because smoke is a killer. Duh! Blaming a company for producing a product you chose to use is the same as blaming Boker for making the knife that someone used to stab you in the chest. It is about time that Americans start taking some responsibility for their own actions. Choosing to smoke, drink, take drugs etc. , are all just that: choices. Don't blame the supplier of a service. Internalize the blame where it belongs.
People are working very hard on solutions, many have lost loved ones as well.
You and everybody on this thread can help actually speed up research on cures for all types of cancer, AIDS/HIV, MS and soon to be other projects. The world community grid helped the Chiba institute in Japan to complete over 100 years of research in just 2 years. They went from very little data to having compounds ready for evaluation in just 2 years---this is staggering what we can do as a collective(we can beat 3 of the best super computers put together), not only that but by doing volunteer computing we free up the much needed funds for the actual lab work, staff and equipment that would other wise have to be spent on very expensive super computer run time. If we can do it for HIV sequencing the lab research will go much faster.

I hate to waste money even when it is the insurance company's money. 6 extra painful months and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Not for me. Ken Krieger Cape Coral, Florida
We lost a very special man in our family to lung cancer and begged for trials and pills that may or may not work. We prayed cried told lies to him to keep him fighting and his body could not keep up. We pray that someday others can keep their loved ones and not suffer like we did or he did. We cant bring him back and will forever be scared. I will be checking in on this and hope doctors can be kinder then his. We battled insurance ., Doctors and Cancer. please keep trying as this is an awful cancer and should not take so many lives.. also we were always so turned away as if lung cancer is deserved.. and those who dont understand that a smoker is not the only ones who get it.. its also in bodies of those who never smoked. either way no one deserves it. Glad to hear their is hope. Now to find more caring doctors to care for our loved ones.
my husband died of small cell lung cancer in 2002, he was 58 yrs old. Our family is still suffering his loss. Again profits before the people. If anyone finds a cure , it will be a third world country, because the U.S. is too greedy to admit they have a cure...Yes, it is a shame, I just had two other people in my family diagnoised one with panacratic and the other lung .....It just seems to go on and on. Very sad...God Bless all the people who have lost loved ones to this horrible disease, and God Bless all of the ones that are fighting for their lives......And God forgive the ones that continue to put profits ahead of people!!!!
I think your facts are not all in order, not to say pot can't help sysmptoms of chemo and nuasia. If smoking pot actualy cured cancer it would be prescribed in every country of the world. Sorry, a page with people discussing lost loved ones to cancer is not the place to push legalization agenda.
First off, I did not say smoking cannabis will cure cancer. Obviously you did not watch Run From the Cure the Rick Simpson Story. If you have a loved one that has cancer, watch the movie! The drug companies don't want you to know about this, because they cannot patent a plant. It is all about money$$. Educate yourself before you comment on something you do not understand, it could be a matter of life or death!!
Yes sir, Thats Just wonderful You guys are the best. All that time you`all spent in medical schools paid off. I hope you can get through the food and drug administration I wonder how long that will take? I`d talk to the President if I was You all Have a good day so long for now
I fought with my Mother for 30 years about her smoking. She would state that it was okay for her, because she did NOT inhale. Gee whiz, Mom, "the smoke is all around you"! Even, the cat would stick his nose in the huge ashtray filled with cigarrette butts on the table.
I would "hide" the lighters. "Forget" to buy the cartons. Argue with her about "dying". She did not care, she was addicted and would get furios with me for bothering her.
When, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia, I thought "surely" she would not smoke? She started dropping burning cigarrettes on the floor. When, she was quizzed, she would just blame the issue on "someone" visiting her...."boyfriend", the man that delivered pizza and she felt sorry for as he told her about his troubles.
At 83 years old, my Mother needed to live where she could be watched and protected. As she moved into a elder-care facility, she would scream at the caretakers who kept her cigarrette pack for her in a drawer until she would go outside to smoke.
The only thing that "cured" my Mother of her long endured habit, was when she had an infection and the subsequent incorrect medicine dosage nearly killed her. She became catanoic and when she finally improved, she had "forgotten" that she smoked!!! What a way to get a cure!
Two years later, because of her constant issue about coughing and spitting-up, I finally convinced doctors to put Mom in the hospital for evaluation. With all of the tests that she had to endure, the final diagnosis was adeno-carcinoma of the lung. At 85, no doctor would perform any surgery.
The only time that my Mother asked me what was going on with her health, I sat next to her bed in the dark room and leaned in to tell her why she had the scar on her chest from a needle.
I told her that she had lung cancer from smoking. Mom's last words on the subject were: "I didn't inhale".
Tobacco is addictive and for those young people sitting in the New York nightclubs in the early 1940's having a cigarrette and a drink, the final death came years later with a lot of pain for all involved.
For 60 years cigarettes packs have had a warning printed on the pack from the surgeon general explaining if you smoked this product it will kill you!!!I I smoked for thirty years and stopped my mother smoked for 35 years and stopped but she developed lung cancer 25 years after she stop she is 86 now and dealing with it.Our decisions that we make thru out life are our own and if someone finds cure thats great but we all lit our own cigarettes one at at time, that was our choice. We all knew what would happen if we smoked. if medical science can find a cure that is great but the only one to blame is the person looking back at you in the mirror
The tabacco co. got the smartest scientists in the world to make a cig that would addict most people. Don't put all the blame on the people that got sucked in.I am stage 4 lung cancer survivor. Well over three years now. I try to warn people about smoking but most are in denial. Its a terriable desease don't smoke..Scare tactics don't work that well. I stopped smoking when they took a 2 1/2 inch blood clot out of my coriod artery. Haven't had not even one since,so if I can do it everyone can. DId chemo for 15 months and 35 rounds of radiation because along with the blod clot I had stage 4 lung cancer at age 54..I am very lucky to still be here must be for some reason ??
One of the lung cancer patients on Rick Simpsons Run From the Cure was givin 2 months to live. He started using Ricks oil and recovered and went back to work!
In the late 1930's there was a country western song that went like this, "Smoke Smoke that cigarette, smoke smoke it until you smoke yourself to death". Even back there everyone knew that cigarettes kill. If you smoke it is your own fault. Put the blame where it belongs on yourself. My father died with lung cancer, his was probably caused by welding with stainless steel and being in the shipyards during WWII.
Remember, no one can make another adult do anything, and take responsibility for your self.
I definitely appreciate your open mind. My father smoked for over 40 years. He quit once or twice due to fear from a pneumonia, but usually resumed his habit about a month later. He watched his own father die a horrible death due to cancer twenty years after he had quit smoking(his primary site was not his lungs). Six years ago my father was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Upon further investigation his primary tumor site was his R lung. he was first said to be stage 4 inoperable for the lung. A brain surgeon had immediately removed the brain tumor but told us the appearance of the tumor was not good for his prognosis. Long story shorter he did eventually have the lobe out and 2 rounds of chemo w/ radiation initially. He is still here today and is a nonsmoker. His WIFE STILL SMOKES(she does go outside after being told she had to. Initially she smoked in the house. I am VERY lucky to still have my father but a smoker is a smoker is a smoker. You could warn till you're blue in the face and most will smoke no matter what. We all have to accept the consequences of our actions.
By the way--my uncle is fighting for his life battling renal adenocarcinoma that has gone to his lungs. He is hanging on sometimes in a miserable way taking one of the drugs that reduces tumor growth. He Never smoked a day in his life, and did not live with anyone smoking.
That's kind of over-simplyfying the whole thing to say, just don't take the drug, smoke the cigarette etc. I agree that tobacco should be made illegal. In what universe would anyone think that lighting tobacco with a match, and breathing the smoke into your lungs would do anything but compromise your health? Tobacco is marketed all over the world, and back in the 50's and 60's was made to look as if it were 'cool' to smoke. Yes, we all have choices, but given the destruction of lives and the resources spent (including time, research, and money), why do we not make this an illegal drug? Quick answer: there is too much profit to be made by tobacco companies, pharmaceutical companies, and yes, oncologists. Heroin is illegal, cocaine is illegal, so should tobacco be.. YES, Americans should take responsibility by evolving and putting and end to drugs like tobacco that clearly kill people.
I wonder what the cost of this new drug is going to be. It seems that the latest and greatest is at the mercy of the drug companies. Like so expensive, you have to take out a second mortgage to get a month's supply. I know, because my wife who died from lung cancer three years ago was taking Tarceva. The pills cost $4300.00 for a 30 day supply. Her insurance paid for some of the cost but she had a copay of $1300.00 per month. That's almost a mortgage payment. The kicker is, the drug really didn't work at all. I hate to see what the cost would be today. The drug companies got you in a bad spot because they know that most people will pay whatever it takes get rid of the cancer.
My brother was on Tarceva, his cancer spread while on it. You are quite right...very expensive. So unfair. You are put into a position of deciding what your life is valued at.
My brother was exposed to asbestos in the US Navy, fighting for our country. He now has lung cancer from that. He has been fighting a little over a year with a very grim diagnosis. He is 41, with a 12-year-old child. He has undergone radiation and 3 rounds of chemo. It is spreading like wildfire throughout his body. The doctors say there is nothing else they can do. He is going to a holistic healer now, as he refuses to give up. It's difficult to watch his fight and agony. If there is a cure, it should be made available to everyone immediately. I know he would try anything that would give him a snowball's chance in hell.
Tobacco companies are not to blame, you are a person with a mind of your own. YOU decide to smoke- the tobacco company doesn't come to your house, put a cigarette in your mouth and light it up. That's like saying the LCBO made me become an alcoholic. These companies give labels/warnings of what the products can do- the harm they can cause. Are you really telling me you thought cigarette's were healthy, or that no one ever told you before the age of 40 years old, maybe you should quit? Don't get me wrong, I feel great empathy for all of the people and their families that have suffered loss from cancer or other health related issues due to tobacco, but take responsability. Say No to smoking and stop blaming everyone else. Look in the mirror and make changes/prevention yourself! You only have one body- take care of it, or do the best you can to fix what you didn't know then, that you do know now!...
My husband, 63, was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer in July, 2008. He had 1 round of chemotherapy that was fairly successful however the primary tumor did not completely disappear. In March, 2009, he had an upper lobectemy that was successful. In June, 2009 he went back for a CT scan and was discovered that another tumor had begun to grow as well as a "questionable" spot on his spine. I had addressed this "other" tumor prior to his surgery and his "oncologist" did not think it would be problematic. As it turned out it was. In July, 2009 we sought a second opinion at a cancer center where he was given two more rounds of chemotherapy with minimal results. He did not take the last dose of the chemo as he was tired of feeling sick and the side effects.
He decided to look into the treatment that was being done in Mexico. I fought him hard on his desire to go to Mexico. Having said that, he did an EXTENSIVE amount of research on vitimins, supplements, etc. Being the smart man that he is, he put together all of the similar treatments from Mexico to Germany, bought them an started taking them (vitimins and supplements). Basically, he decided that modern medicine wasn't going to help him and was disgusted at the amount of money he was being charged and decided to take matters into his own hands. He completely blew off traditional medical treatments.
Here we are over a year later and other than the breathing difficulties (minimal) due to the absence of part of his lung, he is doing FANTASTIC with no outward signs of the disease. Granted, he is taking about 20 or so vitimins/minerals; B-17, Sovereign Silver, Curcurmin, Tumeric, to name just a few and it is amazing. His will to live is incredible and his medical doctors are amazed at how well he is doing. He just recently added high dose (75 grams) IV Vitimin C (cost is very low, approx. $150) once a week.
The bottom line is this.....there will NEVER be a cure for cancer as long as there is money to be made! Each treatment he received was billed at about $60,000 and the neulasta shot (to build up the white blood cells) that he received the next day after treatment was $11,000.00. It makes me sick!
Truly inspiring. So happy for you - You should post this to others on every sight that you can think of. You may help so many. This country should be ashamed as they only care about money.. its so sad. I lost my dad and their was nothing we could do to save him The Doctors simply gave up and so did he. He was tired of fighting a short but long 6 months. We tried to make him go to mexico and thought it was an option however he was too sick to travel. We sit here now thinking about all we could have done. I just feel that so many doctors missed so many things. God bless you and your husbands will. Please tell your story to others. It may be what we need to beat this awful cancer.
I'm so sorry for your loss heartbroken.....not that this would ease your pain but I know when my husband insisted that he was going to go to Mexico, I really dug my heels in. The clinic he wanted to go to was the one that Coretta Scott King died in. After I did some detective work, I discovered that the clinic had been opened then shut down on NUMEROUS occasions. Aside from the current climate there (drug related murders) there is no oversight or accountability. I was very fearful that for the treatments they wanted to provide (IPT, IV's) the supplies would not be properly sterilized and would result in a far worse situation. There were other considerations as well, those two being primary.
I'm certain that you and your family did all that you could do and it is truly agonizing to helplessly sit by and not be able to make it better. My husband is by no means cured, but I'd have to say that it is about as close as you can get and his quality of life is much improved. Whether his regime of the "witches brew" is merely a placebo effect (very powerful) or it is having an impact remains to be seen. We cannot anticipate the challenges that lie ahead.
God Bless....
P.S. I'll take your advice about posting this elsewhere.
I too have lost family members and loved ones to emphazima do to the smoking. They all admitted that they should smoke! But they did'n want to quit.
Why do we always blame the capitalism for the peoples woes? The USA has brought many technological advances with products , equipment medicines, drugs etc. just vbecause there is a proffit incentive doesn't mean bussineses don't care about people. Money and proffit is what is needed to pay the people to make and develop things! You don't see poor nations or poor people making great strides in technology or developing drugs!
Lets wake up people! Capitalism has helped the world more then socialism or communism, it is what made the world a better place.
We have to stop blameing the corporations and we need to have the US government reduce some of the regulations that restrict the drug makers. The government and some liability issues make things extra expensive!
You are looking at the world through rosy hued glasses. If you or I found a natural cure for cancer, or developed an engine than ran on clean water, we might be inclined to use this knowledge for the good of mankind to rid the world of this dreaded disease or prevent further global warming. Those capitalists of the world that realize how much money is to be made (or lost) from such discoveries would never let this happen. Instead, the search for a a synthetic "equivalent" for the natural cure would be undertaken while millions needlessly die, because you cannot patent mother nature. Big Oil would most certainly do everything in their power to ensure that the hydrolysis engine never sees the light of day to ensure that all of their infrastructure remains viable and profitable, regardless of the damage to the environment.
Capitalism does not have to be driven by pure greed, but it is a fact that in this country it is.
Maybe I'm not understanding all of this.. this doesn't seem that remarkable to me... and I have read over and over again that Tumor shrinkage in no way correlates to survival . So I guess my initial reaction is so what, Big deal.
Funny, my first thought was how many $thousands does it cost?
Esiac Tea has been used by the Ojibway tribe in Canada for centuries to cure cancer. The medical industry tested it in 1922 and found it to have an 80% success rate it 2 to 4 weeks. If you get organic herbs through herbalhealer.com it only costs $50 for a two week supply. If you add 5 drops of bloodroot extract to each cup of tea it dries out tumors and makes them die not shrink. A 2 oz bottle of bloodroot extract through iherb.com will last around 2 months and only costs $12. If you "just say no to drugs" it cost less and is more effective.

Whoopie!!! Yoo hoo! So sick of this @!$%#. My whole family has died of cancer and what the hell is being done? Nothing!
Here are the links, please join us and pass it on. Tell others. YOU can make a difference.

You can go to the research tab and find the Chiba website that will verify the 2 year time table.http://www.m.chiba-u.ac.jp/class/bioinfor/wcg/e/hfcc_e/news.html

I hate to waste money even when it is the insurance company's money. 6 extra painful months and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Not for me. Ken Krieger Cape Coral, Florida
Amen Kenneth and especially if that six months is going to be lived in pain rather than joy.
Now to find more caring doctors to care for our loved ones.
could you send it right now to my dying father?
I wish they would. I wish they could have to mine.. I feel for you.
thank you heartbroken i feel your pain
hang in there . I dont know any words that help. I just pray for everyone who goes through it.
my husband died of small cell lung cancer in 2002, he was 58 yrs old.
There is a cure for cancer and you can grow it yourself. If your state has laws that allow it. Go to pheonixtearsmovie.com.
Educate yourself before you comment on something you do not understand, it could be a matter of life or death!!
it doesn't cure cancer. hemp oil shrinks the tumors. its like this pill/chemo...its help, but not a cure
Youtube Cancer and Cannabinoids Dr Bob Melamede.
I think thats just Great,The sooner the better.
"Kwak's team projected that 72 percent of the patients would have ENJOYED six months without their disease worsening..."
"Enjoyed"? How does someone with lung cancer "enjoy" even one day with lung cancer- even if he/she knew the disease wasn't getting worse?
A poor choice of words by the author.
There is no money in a cure,go figure.
How blessed I am to still have my husband!
