There's California for you. They run their state into bankruptcy and want to be bailed out but in the mean time they have crooked doctors who want to live there and run up incredible bills for tests that were not needed. They cannot even run a town without their public servants voting themselves pay raises above 6 figures and yet they do not understand why they are insolvent. Liberals think that being one is an excuse for spending everyone elses money. This is not a medical issue. This is an LA issue..... as in "La La Land", home of the deluded.

ROTFL. The only surprise here is that someone actually considers this "news." Take a look around any poor neighborhood. These scams are everywhere. I live in the bay area and it's been pretty much common knowledge for well over 20 years-people get paid for the use of their medicare/medi-cal numbers & the doctors bill for tests, visits and procedures that are never done. I have no doubt private insurance gets hit too.

medicare approved 4 chemo treatments for me said my age was over the guideline I was 64 with stage 4 liver diease, had to beg the VA after losing 45 lbs. I'm now non detectable, but they can give billions away to non Americans

The mentally ill were fortunate in that these greedy creepy doctors weren't surgeons. No wonder our medicare costs are so high, as news like this has become commonplace.

I know about massive, easily proven medicaid fraud. It has been reported, more than once. It goes on because no one gives a rip, folks, and that's the truth. Try reporting fraud relating to Medicare or Medicaid and see how far you get.

Those two DR,s stole almost enough money to be considered for a fraudulent position in the Miami Florida scams .got a way to go to get into the BIG leagues in Miami.

Hell in Florida we might have an expert in Medicare fraud as Governor soon, NOW top that. HE has spent MILLIONS of his own money for what, a $200,000 a year? Maybe he can find a way to use his office, should he win, to milk millions from us and NOT get caught this time, LOL.

The strange thing is that employers can NOT hire us because of our credit rating but major CROOKS can legally run for office. Trouble is, WE have to decide which crooks to vote for because that is ALL that is running. Dam%, we are screwed.

What to bet on these doctors spending any real time in prison??????????

It's not just California. Rick Scott may be the next Governor of Florida. His company cheated Medicare out of billions. They were fined $1.7 billion ( the largest fine in U.S. history), and Scott got away with $300,000,000 for himself. When questioned, he took the 5th more than 70 times. Now his new company is being investigated for Medicare fraud. And yet, he may be elected Governor of Florida next Tuesday. These people aren't afraid of the law...there's too much money to be gained.

It's not just in the poor neighborhoods where the Medicare fraud is happening. At least now the current Admin. is working hard to crack down on this fraud. They're not afraid to go after the big guys as did the previous Admin. Also, Rick Scot's second business is currently being investigated for Insider Trading. Yet still, there are many naive voters of all ages, who want to elect this person as their next Gov. What are they thinking, when they vote such immoral frauds into any office? Then they whine when the corruption occurs or their benefits are taken away. It's these ill advised voters, who provided those candidates with support to those political positions of power. The voters do little to research on the candidates qualifications, etc. other than to listen to invalid campaign ads or blindly support their party and its policies without thinking clearly as to who is seeking the job for the best interest of all constituents (not just self-serving themselves, the elite, or Big Business). The information is out there. So wake up and smell the coffee burning!! Otherwise, you get the poor quality of candidates that you support. And yes, political experience is a very important requirement, too, for those positions. Start checking out the "new wannabes", like Rick Scot, etc. It is people like them that are a threat to our Country's existence and not just the terrorists. Don't feel intimidated or rely on your Bosses list of endorsements included in your next paycheck as done with the McDonald's employees recently in another State. Do something about it and report such actions immediately. Such tactics are illegal and ignorant if accepted!!

These S O B's should spend about ten years in the state pen! No wonder Medicare is in the red. This is probably just scratching the surface my friends! This country is full of greedy bast##@!
