IT never occured to these geniuses that teams are more likely to slap butts and chest bump when they're winning, and not the other way around? Y'all have put the chicken before the egg, seems to me...
Exactly what I was thinking! You're not going to high five, fist bump, or chest bump when you suck and you're losing. Those actions are all celebratory acts.
They will try anything to bring in more revenues except the obvious.
If you want to make NBA Basketball a better more competitive sport AND FUNNER TO WATCH just raise the height of the hoop to eleven feet.
It's to easy for these guys to make a basket the way it is now.
Junk Science?
The more successful plays a team has, the more celebration and "fist bumps." That is simple logic.
So does the study show anything other than that winning teams tend to celebrate? Seems silly.
This is a false study. This morning I went into work and tried being touchy-feely
with my female co-workers. They were not very cooperative and I was definitely
not very successful. Now, I'm looking for a new job. Thanks MSNBC.
Maybe I can get a position with MSNBC....I could do brilliant studies like....
people that eat are not hungry anymore....or people that don't sleep are
more tired at work. doh!
