jayphly, you must be one of those envior socialist democrats, malaria was controlled pretty easly with DDT. Which was out lawed by the envior idoits all the way to the freak faced UN, beause the "supposed" egg damage of the bald eagles. Bald eagles problem was lack of calciun intake. Any chicken farmer could of told all the puke brained professors that. As simple chemical was outlawed, which is in the soil many feet down. which never been exposed to any pest control. Just B--l s--t from envior morons, like the gobal warming crap beleifs. DDT wwould save millions of people from blood sucking pests. Bring DDT back and use it again. Since you post like a member of the National Marxist Communist Democrat Union Party idoit, and a love struck moron for the jug eared, pistol gripped, marxist, muslim moron in Cheif. The same jackass who beleives in a world controlled by the dictaror member run UN! We can sure see your"educated" response shows your men nano mentality of world situational history and beleif in envior crap
Ironically, your ignorant jaw flapping is just as ignorant as it sounds.
WHO does use DDT to fight Malaria, it's one of the twelve approved chemical pesticides, although it's not carpet bombed across Africa, as it was in the agricultural fields in America in the 60's. Something you'd probably suggest.
The basic problem with your argument is that you want us to use a chemical on a huge scale in our environment with impacts we're not even sure about. It would be like using an entire year's salary on lottery tickets. You might win, but in the end, it might turn out to be the stupidest idea of your life.
And you're actually almost right with the calcium intake. Except all the tested eggs were in contact with DDT, as well as the birds who laid them. DDT was proven to inhibit female birds ability to completely grow the egg shells before laying them. So although, for you, it would seem convenient that all the birds (osprey, sea gulls, ravens, eagles, etc.) in contact with DDT could have suddenly started eating diets with low amounts of calcium, it would seem that it would be infathomably unlikely.
Next time, try to find a source for trying to prove your points (which were muddied in between ignorant slurs and hard to find), even if it's Wikipedia (You can fact-check with the links at the bottom of the page). You'll gain much more respect.
Hmmmmmmm. No posts from the tea party?
I guess you all can't give an educated response.
This is terrible. People are destroying the nest in which we sleep. What happens when we have no medicine left that works?
