Regarding birth control and the spreadof STD's; The Roman Catholic Church has antiquated thinking.

The Church isn't looking at realities. and walking away from antiquated doctrines has become easier. In the past Catholic women were required to stay in abusive marriages. Education gave women, what the church couldn't. A safer way...

The Church body is the members of the church including the pope, bishops, and priests. All have free will to stay or leave the church. Some decide to stay and try to destroy what God has created through His Church. There are bad apples in every religious or nonreligious gatherings...political entities...even families. The Catholic Church never required women to stay in abusive marriages. They gave women the first means of higher education. Not all Catholic universities carry the "Catholic" as part of its name so maybe you are not aware of the great medical, scientific, humanitarian gifts from those universities that have improved our way of life. As for what you call "antiquated thinking"...you do have much to learn.

Religion is just another way to control a group of people. The Catholic church is one of the more criminal ones. Why anyone would even listen to such an immoral person as the pope is beyond me. The guy need to be executed for crimes against humanity as well as the rest of the people who support this sort of criminal behavior.

So Brenda, the head of this organization says and does the things that he does? Including thinking it's okay to molest children? if these organizations are above board then they need to instantly condemn this behavior. Haven't seen it yet.

This is ridiculous.

Millions of people die of HIV AIDS each year because a guy in a big hat says they can't use condoms. Now he says that male prostitutes can use condoms.

Sounds like he is more concerned about their welfare than everybody elses.

If only Jesus said something about condoms in the New Testament... oh wait, they didn't even have plumbing back then, how were they to know about safe sex.

Give it up already, it's all fiction anyway. Why bother.
