Wow....Keep on running! My husband runs almost everyday 6-8 miles and did not start until he was in his forties. What a difference it made in his life.
You are both inspiring and you both show how being active makes a world of difference, no matter the age.
Please God, let me be as happy and content and excited and hopeful and thrilled and grateful and loving as these guys. I don't mean just at 90 -- I mean RIGHT NOW! :)
Oh, yes, and if you'd please help me get to 90 or older, too, that would be great...so I can enjoy it all the more. Thank you.
Way to go, fellas. Thanks for showing the rest of us what living is really all about.
if you're gonna have one after hoping for one, I hope it comes sooner rather than later, and does the full job so you don't suck up any more of the health care dollars with an attitude like that
I was dreading an upcoming 'Turkey Trot' that I'm registered for (5 miles) because it's going to be cold, windy and rainy... then I read this and remembered that he's 90 and he's run 745 marathons... and didn't even start until he was older than I am right now.
Mr. Frank could benefit from seeing a very good Chinese Acupuncturist. After the acute stage , acupuncture can do amazing things for stroke patients. They might enable him to recover enough to get out of assisted living and back on the running trail. It is worth a try. If anyone knows this man please pass this on.

He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Perhaps he can get out of that assisted living facility and back on the road. Wonderful inspirational story !
all you gotta do is take a hard look at your life and what makes you feel like that, and make a few changes. It can be done by anyone, but you have to want to do it. By this comment, it sounds like you do somewhere deep down.
Have you all heard of Lansing Brewer, 64, ultra-marathon runner who will run across Africa next year to raise money and awareness for safe drinking water? Very inspirational.
I understand the sadness from not be able run , I bike on the regular base although winter is little challenging, start run about 6 months ago and do feel bad if stop for week or so , is the cheapest way to make yourself happy, hope to be 90 and be able to run, that would be the most beautiful gift to myself,,
Congratulations for the inspiration to me and I hope a whole lot of couch potatoes.
You guys are so inspiring. Kudos to you both!

If you were trying to be funny, sorry...didn't work. If you're serious, well, that's a shame.
Don't give up on the marathons or your friendship. You are both an inspiration.
