I am confused, if it lessens the risk for gay men, wouldn't it lower the risk in straight men? Depending on their activities and/or the activities of their partners...straight men are also at risk as well as women gay or straight...depending on their activities... are women not able to use this medicine?
It's just a technical matter of which groups were actually involved in the study versus which were not.

I don't think we as society should be paying for the "risky behavior" of some. Health costs are way too high as is and this will only make it worse. And why is this treatment $15 in 3rd world countries and $1000 here?
We should totally stop paying for car accidents, pregnancy care, and sports injuries too.
