I think that there should be lables on "pot", the type, potency and weather it's organic or fertilized. pot is good organic plant lets not let it get screwd up by to much messing with it. labels are good for basic info and leave it at that. I'd also be wary of big tabacco compaines and gov't getting invloved with production of it. i feel they would poision it just as they have tabbaco.
potency is like beer is to wine is to whiskey...only alcohol is legal. In our state 6 point beer must be sold in liquor stores. I would like to be the tester of potency for weed...but I am employed by a "random tester" corporation.
I really don't look to see this plant of nature that God intended for medicinal use to be nationally legalized in my lifetime...sadly. Amazingly you can not overdose on it nor does one suffer withdrawal from it even with long term use. Someone please explain why it is illegal and alcohol and tobacco products are legal. And I'm talking from a bodily harm standpoint.
Because the FDA is involved; And, the gov't needs to keep building more prisons, and the police need to make more arrests, and more control is needed by the gov't. and more off road vehicles are needed to catch the runners. There has to be more bullets and guns and tasers and anything related to the game POT.This goes on and on. Then the advertising industry and the tv commercials re. pot. and the news when there is not enough good news. Then compare this to drunk drivers and how many innocent people they kill. Forget about the smoking, this is self inflicted. Drinking has and always will be social. But Many times overly social. This too is self inflicted harm to your own body. What about the body shop industry. The govt and states can make money, save money, empty the prisons, put people to work, and eliminate all this garbage. Irate person when it comes to re. the dumb laws and justice system.
Make it easy...just don't bust anyone with it. That simple. And that way the Feds will leave you alone. When you start making state laws, the Feds will be on you like flies on pooh.
You forgot all the Lawyers pot provides work for. Throw in judges, baliffs, court Stenographers. Man you'll put a lot of people out of work. The list goes on and on. Seriously though I'm worried that if pot is legalized the tobacco companies will produce it and purify the THC so strongly like Nicotine that pot will suddenly be addictive and everyone will be flopping around town stoned out of their minds and unable to quit. Remember the Indians didn't walk around with cigarettes hanging out of their mouths 24/7. They smoked for ceremonies and when they wanted it but not 24/7 like today. I say keep it illegal but don't bust people and arrest. Just give a ticket. What city can't use the money.
It would be a nightmare for bars and casinos and other public places when people break out cigarettes with marijuana plugs in them. Try to pass a drug test at work.
If legalization, and all its regulations, doesn't kill the industry nothing will.
