DUH.. what freaking genius came up w/this. This has been general knowledge for decades.

Topics related in this article are true, as I could observe in several cases. People in that cases can do and make bizarre things. Maybe these investigations can help all of us who must live and work with affected persons.

This article was entertaining, but I have one or two suggestions for improving it. First, the author should read the research study. Picking a sentence that stood out would have worked better if the idea referenced were not from different research, related to but not the subject of this study.

Having a telephone interview with a researcher does not count as reading. Once the original research has been read, it should become immediately apparent where the author of this piece of news has gone wrong.

My second bit of advice is to have someone who has done a scientific study write the article next time. At the very least, hire someone who reads scientific studies to screen articles for obvious errors.

This article is typical of a popular translation of research in that it has very little to do with the subject which it alleges to describe.
